what is up with the horrible storylines in WWE lately? by far the worst ive ever seen. first off, the raw/smackdown talent pool is way uneven. raw has HHH, and thats it for the true big name performers. raw has been incredibly boring lately, and, while every man loves to see two chicks going at it, the “hot lesbian action” was a sorry attempt to get ratings. on the smackdown side, the storylines arent quite as bad as raw, but they still suck. also, guys like john cena and rey meystirio have potential to be huge superstars, but are getting fucked over b/c of the writing. i think they need to split the talent pool up more evenly, and get some of the good rivalries back, while starting some new ones (unlike the shitty ones like they have now). any thoughts?
Lately?
Sometimes, I miss the old days when it was just rasslin.
I dissagre , i think raw is the way better product latley. I think the reason i like it so much is becasue i was a big fan of the wcw stuff back when they where on top and this respembles that.
If you checkout Hotjobs.com you will find that WWE has been advertising for writers. Anyone up for the job?
I could give a shit about the storylines and plot and what not. I just like to see the athleticism(sp?) many of them possess.
Brock Lesner is a fuckin animal.
im gonna have to agree that brock lesnar is a freak. not only is he huge, but he gave 385 pound mark henry an “F5” like he was 125. lesnar is just a plain out monster
I have to agree, raw is pretty bad and really both shows could use improvement. A guy wrote an article on wwe.com called “shut up and wrestle”, check it out. It explains alot of the problem, and from the rumors sites, it also seemed to have gotten some attention from alot of people. Apparently they don’t have an editor in chief to review the articles but now that may change LOL. I really believe the product went downhill when they moved from USA to TNN/MTV. I never used to miss a show or a PPV, even sunday night heat I made sure I was home to see. Hell now , most of the time if I miss a show I don’t even care. I go to all the live shows in my state, but if one comes by in the near future I will probably skip that as well. I read now though that Vince FINALLY sees a little light and has decided a ‘quick fix’ for ratings will not work and will build the product back up slowly. I truly believe this is one thing that hurt him so much was trying to quickly get things going again with stupid story lines and not giving some talents enough time to build and pulling them out of the ring to quickly just to be replaced by others with less talent to see if they couldn’t get a quick pop.
well i ranted enough, and sorry if it all jumbles together.
