Is This the End of Roe v. Wade?

I also think that the valuation of motherhood and raising children has changed. Little girls are encouraged far more to become a CEO or make partner. And there are now large sections of the population that deride women for choosing motherhood. It’s then taking longer for some women to realize they’d rather have a family than a high paying career. So, you see women in their early 30s dropping out of a successful working life to start a family later than they otherwise would have.

It’s also pertinent that birth rates all together are down. Less children = shorter number of child bearing years and it’s not as detrimental to start later.

I agree. It’s funny because motherhood is so engrained in girls by nature. Anyone with a daughter will tell you they want to be mother’s as soon as they can walk.

Maybe, if you’re the type to presume genders.

Thank you @Andrewgen_Receptors! That’s very kind of you and big… Good luck in the Surge Challenge!

Uh no. But when the “other side” has no capacity for compromise, only submission or destruction, then I am going to laugh when they lose with their really, really stupid ideas.

What are “women” and I thought it was spelled “womxn”? I believe these noble creatures have been erased if I am not mistaken.
That makes practically everyone gay, which I am guessing was part of the agenda.

“Do you Joe Blow take this bleeder, birthing person to be your husband, wife, partner, pet goat, or something as long as you both shall live? You may now kiss the, uh, thing.”

Their the rivals to the latinx gang…

Do white leftists ever bother to think how offensive their made up words are? Duh, of curse not. That’s the point. Go to a ‘latinx’ community and call them that and see if you get out alive.

Leave it to someone who probably never seen a bible in their lives, to interpret it’s words and intentions. You got this off of one of those silly atheist websites you frequent, huh? Where they have a list of out of context quotes listed in order to mock people of faith.

Yeah, you couldn’t be much further off base than that. I attended Sunday and Wednesday services for 20 years. I attended 3X a week chapel, and 5X a week Bible classes for 12 years.

I’ve read the whole thing. Multiple of the books in the Bible I have read dozens of times. Have you?

You just proved my point.

Here is another example of a lack of awareness.

Because they will kill people over a word?

Pat is well known for contradicting his own arguments.

Not American but how do you compromise when one side is pro change and the other is pro keeping things as is. You can’t. The closest you can get is a small amount of change which is in itself a loss for the side who wants things to stay the same and a win for those pro-change

Simple. Both sides would have to give.

They could agree to allow abortions in certain situations where a woman’s life is at risk, in the event of rape/incest or an arbitrary amount of weeks where the fetus is deemed not viable.

Neither side would be completely satisfied, but that is kind of the point of a compromise.

The issue is that both sides want it all.

Respect federalism. There are 50 political bodies here that are(edit: were) supposed to be able to decide for themselves on just about everything.

This is why it’s best not to make state issues into national issues.

I don’t know why you feel the need to give me your religious resume. Yes, I have read it several times and continually do so. Abortion is a-ok because a singular blurb in Numbers alluded to a birthing person who may have committed adulty being tested by some unknown extract that may possibly cause the death of the baby under exact circumstances we have no reference for or idea about, is a stretch at best.
The extrapolation, therefore that “Abortion is in the Bible!” is a massive reach, as infanticide, murder, rape, incest and all kinds of unsavory things are also in the Bible, which no one with any sense extrapolates to meaning that God a is for all that stuff.

In short, everybody, with half a brain, knows by default that such convenient and often intended to be derogatory, interpretation is bullshit by default.

Well, there are other instances in the Bible where God commands infanticide. Not abortion. He commands the Israelites to kill babies.

What???

Did you not say this about me?

No. One hallmark of those cretins is ZERO self awareness.

God himself commits it.
