Is This the End of Roe v. Wade?

Pro choice and pro abortion are not the same thing.

I am not sure if this is a sure way to do it (Ronnie Coleman has lots of kids after all). Much better odds of recovery than 75% though. I’ve heard MENT is the best for stopping sperm production (they have trialed it for male birth control).

My wife is sick of being on birth control. I am thinking I’ll get a sperm test from walgreens and see if she can go off of it.

I understand. I meant pro-choice.

I think a lot of us in the lifting world (and who have used PED’s) understand the negative effects of hormonal manipulation a LOT better than the average man, and so we’re probably more empathetic to women who have bad experiences on birth control.

I knew he just worked harder and had better genes than everyone.

Yes, he also worked as a police officer, full time, while prepping for Olympia contests. :grinning:

I feel a little late to the game on this one, but is it a thing that the police work was a lie?

I’m aware. There are many other police officers that work so hard and are so dedicated that they make gains like they’re going through puberty in their 20s and 30s. Truly inspirational.

I believe he was a police officer for some time in his life but I don’t know how the heck one preps for Olympias, with high risk of jeopardizing preps and all other stuff he did for income while being one.

Yes.

Ha… Funny how most of those shrieking psychotic rejects would probably have trouble finding a viable male. Barely above your typical Antifa “female” looks wise.

What barriers are there?

@H_factor Well it certainly seems as if things were different. My maternal grandmother was pregnant and married at eighteen, and this was not unique. Over 100 years ago 20-something year old women had three kids, a home, a husband, and serious responsibilities. Even further back they had up to seven kids. I’m not saying we should return to something like that absolutely, but that doesn’t appear to me as situations in which women could enter one transitory “relationship” after another with so-called “boyfriends” or have flings.

Or perhaps besides what I described in my own family, I have this wrong.

Yes, the world is a much different place than it was 100 years ago.

Yes, which is why I’m seriously asking why someone would think we had the same amount of sexual licentiousness that whole time.

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed elsewhere the amount I’ve written on the Sexual Revolution in these forums. I have consumed enough content on it (books, podcasts, films) to the point at which I believe, though I’m not a scholar, I have specialized knowledge on it. So if someone shows information contrary to what I’ve learned or unknown to me, it will spark my curiosity.

As can be the case with a tone-less internet. My joke missed the mark there.

My bad. Sorry. See my addition in my post above.

My grandmother was married at 15 and had my mother then. My mother is closer in age to her mother than to her youngest brother. It’s tough to judge something like that in context. They are still married 65+ years later for what it’s worth.

Thanks for the response. This is why I’m not comprehending that we had the same amount of social problems we have today resulting from sexual licentiousness in the past.

I could delve into other ways in which we regulated sex and the social ills of the Sexual Revolution but don’t have the time or energy right now, and I went over it extensively in the dating thread.

I have come a long ways on my stance on this. During my wife’s last pregnancy, she developed a blood clot on her brain (due to a genetic condition) and came really close to causing a severe stroke or even death. Heaven forbid she gets sexually assaulted in the future and becomes pregnant as a result, but if that happens, it could literally kill her. So, to me, it is more important that my wife stays around as mother to the kids we already have (even ignoring the trauma of carrying the product of a horrendous crime around in her womb for almost a year). Yes, it is definitely a health issue.

I have no cares what consenting adults do with/to each other and as a Christian I do not believe the soul of a person enters at the moment of conception (there is no direct talk of this in the Bible, so it is unclear).
I consider myself pro-choice even though I don’t necessarily like/agree with abortion in some cases. My beliefs should not hinder others access to healthcare and autonomy of their bodies.

For those quoting the Old Testament laws in this pro-life stance, that is termed the “Old Covenant” and has been rendered moot by the “New Covenant” instituted once Jesus came. Old Covenant laws do not apply in the New Covenant era.
