Is This the End of Roe v. Wade?

right wingers want nothing more than another lefty shit flinging party. great optics for right wingers as the average chump is too consumed with his surrogate activities to deal with any problem than literally what is in their face. lefties blocking roads is always the best because literally nobody gives a fuck why, they just want the clowns out of the way so they can meander along to work or mcdonalds. also as far as i’m aware it was a leftist aid or secretary that leaked it as a preemptive strat to try and make sure it never even reaches consideration. that’s seemingly to this point backfired.

Wut?

Update:

(It just says who the investigation is being undertaken by)

Not a nothing burger at all. I’m predicting some mostly peaceful protests.

Nobody is talking about the real issue here which is at the center of this case: Privacy rights. Roe is cited in privacy cases more than anything else.

also see what the court just allowed Border patrol agents to do:

No recourse against federal officials. So now any force wanting to impose will can just officially, temporarily work for a federal agency and they are not liable for any constitutional infractions.

.It just says Congress should make the laws and not the courts.

True, but the implication is that unless congress acts, federal agencies can act without redress against constitutional rights.

I don’t expect this toilet full of shitbags to act on anything reasonably or within a solid time frame.

They are too busy worrying about Jan 6th hearings and bullshit in professional sports they have no business being in. Oh and sending Ukraine more billions to line their pockets.

My compound is secure and the popcorn is ready.

That’s why this decision is a killer. I agree with this 100%. Nobody votes to harm entities they control and can use to wield power.

Can I join you? I am a good shot.

I agree, but the decision was correct in my opinion from a purely legal point of view.

I always welcome more good folks. Safety in numbers.

That’s the tough bit about this one. I think this is the right decision too.

also agree. I support most abortion rights, but I can’t argue with the decision from a legal perspective. As you and others have said, this needs to be in the hands of the legislature.

I’d say if it is the right decision, then the right decision dictates that women have fewer rights than men do.

I don’t see how that follows. It should be left to the proper channels to make the right decision. How democracy should work.

Do women have the right to drink alcohol the same as men? Should they be forced to eat while pregnant? Both booze and starving ones self could induce an abortion. Men have the rights to do these things, but women aren’t guaranteed those abilities anymore.

I think what it actually does is acknowledge that the supreme court, and specifically the way the Roe V Wade decision was written, was not the appropriate legal way to handle abortion rights. Unfortunately, it’s not likely that Congress will rectify the issue through legislative means anytime soon. But that would be the correct channel.
