Buy this car instead, it will smoke that nissan, looks better, easier to fix, and if you want you can pipe the fuck out of it to make it incredibly fast.

I don’t know why, but I have a soft spot for those Talons. If they’re done right, they’re so awesome.

I personally have owned 2 and I can tell you driving them is just flat out fun. Think about driving a go kart on steroids. Quick nimble, but really really fast. It’s all about being lightweight and getting power to the road. I mean you cant peel out coming off a stop sign to impress your friends, but giving 4 wheels a little chirp and then vanishing into the sunset has it’s own coolness factor.

I think they are pretty sharp cars too. And if you want to boom a system, can’t beat a hatchback.

Yeah they’re neat cars that’s for sure! A little to small for a guy my size though, so I opted for a Camaro instead :stuck_out_tongue:

$6500 for a non-turbo with an ugly body kit? There should NOT be gaps like that in the panels. Those 300ZX are electrical nightmares and under the hood is TIGHT. Be prepared to pay a lot for maint. if you don’t know how to do it yourself. They are also very heavy, low power (I think that is like 222hp but over 3500 lbs.).

KBB.com puts a non-turbo around $4200-4500.

I don’t see it being worth the money.

Do you like the style or are you looking for a specific application (drag, road course, auto-x)?

I concur. Fuck buying a 300zx if its not turbo…and the bodykit is fit like shit in the front, and I wouldn’t really ever buy a car that said “new engine” unless I KNEW for a fact it was all done by a shop I know and trust.

That Talon seems like a pretty large vehicle to only be a V4 eh? You sure it’s that fast?

Only V4 car I’ve been in that I’ve been really impressed with speed/acceleration is a mini-cooper.

yea the front end is fit kind of loose, i just love the look of the 300zx.

eagle talons are nice too

but im so damn picky =/

Like… I guess, but for $6500, you could get a much nicer car, and in a less obnoxious color.

Go get a Trans-Am or something.

but something to think about?

Uhhh v4? lol

Talon is turbo i4, AWD. Lots of potential.

I’m a v8 fan myself though.

You could get a nice used M3. Honestly, the car you picked looks horrible. It looks like a Saturn with that body kit. Are you picking a car based on looks or performance? Because that doesn’t have either.

The day I lose to a Talon is the day I sell my Cobra. O.o

Camaro.

Rattler, we would make good friends. I drool every time I see your picture… I liked that old IROC you had too.

V4s don’t exist. And Mini Coopers are fucking slow. They do make a lot of noise at higher RPMs, though. The turboed Eagle Talon is alright, but it’s really old and hard to find in good condition. Get a '99 turboed Eclipse if you like that style. '00 and on, they ruined the car.

talon turbos are BA

like an eclipse gst except they dont break

just sayin.

What IROC? This is my first car :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you though

It’s a nice car, and I tried to run it through Kelley Blue Book, but realized that you didn’t post the original miles. I would ask, in fact, grill the seller, about how many miles were on the first engine. Nice looking car though, although the color would have to grow on me.

Sorry. Who was it that had the IROC? And he sold it but regrets it… I remember that thread but can’t remember who it is!

Pretty much everybody.

Anybody who has had a Camaro or Firebird/ TA and doesn’t have one now misses the hell of out them. They’re amazing cars, they’re reliable, they’re fast, they get you chicks, and they eat rice burners.
