I don’t. These were basically just things I had in common with every national merit scholar from my high school and University. And these were what I felt impacted my academic life the most.
I’ve also got some very close friends that are much more engaged in education than I am, and we talk about this sort of stuff a lot. One of my best friends just had this published last week: http://www.gwlr.org/2013/01/26/Riegel/ This particular publication isn’t particularly related to what we’re talking about, but my friend who wrote it worked in high schools for a couple years doing mentoring programs before he went to law school, so he has a background in that.
