Rent a uhaul truck and go get it !
Scott
I am hoping one will come available around here. That is a long trip. I do not know if I want it that bad.
11 for $9000 does not seem unreasonable. I would be tempted. But, yes, the space is always an issue, as well as moving them.
Can I ask you how big or tall you are? I’m about 5’7” and having several of those machines to play with I found those double shoulder machines were better suited to bigger or taller people like Dick Butkus . Those machines also have loads of friction . It’s one of the first machines I ever wanted and it didn’t take long to figure that I didn’t like it.

I am 5’11". I have the plate loaded leverage lateral raise. I have used the lateral raise plate loaded several times. It is very similar to what I have. I have used the military press part of the double shoulder much less and I do not think it is great by any means, but if I am going to get the lateral raise then I want the double machine. I just love old Nautilus machines. I would take any one I get if I had the room. No logical or practical reason. Have you ever had a duo squat? There was a double leg press and leg extension for sale around here. It was huge. I had never used that type before, but I loved the duo squat, which is also huge.
The duo- squat was just to big, no room for one.
Scott
That seems like a bargain. In the US, the list price for just the Nautilus One leg press is $8,000. I’m guessing that the entire circuit, brand new, would be in the $75,000-$90,000 range.
I’d be happy if I could just make enough space at my house for a compact squat rack!!!
So today during my 30 10 30 workout I tried something I hadn’t done before. After the second 30 second negative on each exercise I tried to do another concentric rep and I was surprised and impressed when I couldn’t do one rep! I thought for sure I’d be able to do several more concentric reps! I think that’s a good sign 30 10 30 is digging a deep inroad!

Petterson , that is a very good deal on 11 One machines.
I have a duo squat in my garage. Along with double shoulder, multi bicep, multi tricep, ab, and pullup/dip tower. Picked them all up in last 2 months from a gym near me
I am jealous. Did you have to take them apart? If so, how difficult. I am moving machines from garage to basement. Scott told me it can be done without significant difficulty as long as I keep track of the pieces.
Pay close attention to how the chains connect and which ones went where . I took yellow tape and stuck a piece of it on every part labeling where it went . Some machines like the double shoulder or chest can be quite confusing .
Scott
That is what I am worried about. I hired a “handy man” but I plan on watching so I can take apart future machines.
Luckily only had to take apart the duo squat. Took the sled off. I paid someone to move that one(1240lbs!) . My son and i moved the others. The double shoulder was not easy(800lbs). I actually found out the weights after. On fb is a nautilus/medx group. They’ be helpful on actual tips on moving them
I can buy a double chest from the same guy. Im also leery about touching the chains and cams, so im not sure about moving that one. I know the seat apparatus comes off. That one also is about 1200lbs
I wish I did not have to take them apart. Much easier if I didn’t. I definitely want a double chest. Had an opportunity for one at $400, but I did not get it because I had not moved yet.
Do you have to go down steps ? I’ve seen big guys rolling a double chest on a hand truck!
Scott
Yes, down steps through my house into a basement. It think that would destroy my basement steps.
ifr .net has a nautilus section that gives dimensions on the early machines
