You know what i find more addicting than sugar? Peanut butter. 1 spoon turns to 2 which goes to 3 all of a sudden 1/2 jar later i am still telling myself just 1 more scope. That is the only food that does that to me
Absolutely. You just described my saturday night… except it was the whole jar lol.
Awesome. Next time i will have to do a whole jar. Problem is i am doing that after I consume 4000 + cals of carbs pro and icnidental fats. So the 1/4 jar alone adds a tone to that

I use that too especially the chocolate on and a bannana flavored one. But I can go through a whole jar of that too if I don’t push myself away.

I do have to keep that stuff away for the most part or only mix 1 spoonful into something then put it far away and force myself not to go back for more. DAMN YOU PEANUT BUTTER. Wish it didnt have so many damn cals
Lol w/o getting too off topic, check out “PB2”. It’s a little pricey but is a PB product mostly de-fatted.
If you have a Trader Joe’s nearby, they make a peanut flour product that I assume is very similar. You can make it into a paste with a bit of salt and sugar or whatever sweetener you use.

With PB2 you are paying for the name, it is just peanut flour. I get 5 LBS for $20.

It is easy to find online.

what kind do you guys use? i bought kraft natty pb. only ingredients are 100% roasted peanuts. no oils or salt. maybe thats why it tastes bland lol.
Add in 1-2 teaspoons of sea salt and a few packets of Splenda while it’s still separated and stir it in. Let chill in fridge to solidify… If you dare

I get mine at a local hippy type food store but,

http://www.byrdmill.com/gourmet_peanut_flour

has some for $18.50.

Do you know the difference between dark and light? Thanks for that I have no idea how i missed that

…So does this mean peanut butter is toxic too?

aflotoxin, LOL seriously though, not sure what P2B is, but can’t imagine defatting PB is a good thing

The dark is just roasted longer. I assume it it so it can have a bit more flavor since it has less fat.

Edit: ^ Yeah. Like coffee beans.

By itself or in a peanut butter sandwich I prefer the real stuff but, when adding it to say oatmeal I always use Peanut flour. In my opinion the texture is much better.

oats, brown rice, almond milk, splenda, and peanut flour in addition to whatever else you want (banana, raisins, cocoa powder etc.) is amazing.

I’ve never had an issue with the taste of natty PB blended up then added to oatmeal, in fact only way I’d eat “plain” oatmeal

For me it is toxic to body comp

What is wrong with defatting the PB? It reduces calories that is all

I llike normal PB in oatmeal, greek yogurt and what not but it doesnt fit my macros as well as PB2 or peanut flour. Unlike you I actually eat carbs. So fat for me is lower hence why defatted PB works perfect. Allows for more cals in carbs and less fat/carbs eaten at the same time. I like my backloads lower in fat than some.

you remove the yolks from eggs too

A while ago a nutritionist told me roasting peanuts creates toxins, which is what people are actually allergic to (supposedly people with peanut allergies could eat raw peanuts fine). To avoid roasted peanuts or PB made from them at all cost. I’ve been afraid of touching the stuff since.
