that woudl be dumb. If i buy eggs there is no way i wasting any thing. I am too cheap and dont ahve the money to waste throwing awway part of my food. But i do mostly consume egg whites they jsut come from a carton. And cost aroudn the same

How did we get to PB from sugar? lol It is a fascinating topic and one hopefully someone will write an article on really soon to discuss some of the physiology behind the theory.

A while ago a nutritionist told me roasting peanuts creates toxins, which is what people are actually allergic to (supposedly people with peanut allergies could eat raw peanuts fine). To avoid roasted peanuts or PB made from them at all cost. I’ve been afraid of touching the stuff since.[/quote]

If you aren’t allergic then why would it matter to you?! Come on…

so i tried some of your suggestions and added olive oil and sea salt to my natty pb. now that was effin delicious.

Technically a legume. I’ve wondered about these people with “nut” allergies who eat beans. Tree nuts are nuts, peanuts are not.

from polawlquin

Do not eat Peanut Butter, even the natural kind; it contains a mould that has phyto-estrogens in it.

its ok, im eating dominican avocadoes that add 10lbs of lean mass and lose 2% bf in a week…take that peanuts!!

(pololiquin joke)

People bashing Poliquin, I find that interesting considering.

haha. i like alot of poliquins stuff. i just find some of his claims outrageous. the dominican story. the “my athletes gain 30lbs of lbm in 1 month on hcl supplementation.”

That would be my bad. I find PB more addictive than sugar. I can put down any sugar ladden thing and actually get very sick of somethign that is sugary very fast and actually prefer desserts/treats things that are less sweet. But PB, very hard for me to put down or away. That was my statement that derailed things. It seemed sorta on line considering i was saying it was addictive  and certainly could make my physique worse than sugar

Because if it’s true, you’re still eating toxins…even if it’s not accompanied by a histamine over reaction. I eat raw almond, hazelnut, cashew, or walnut butters instead.

same here, downside is they’re all 2x the price. I still PB, but it’s very seldom compared to everyday like it used to be.

There was another study where they let lab rodents eat all the sugar they wanted. Said rodents would eat a certain amount then stop. Then they mixed a fat in with the sugar. The rodents literally couldn’t stop eating the sugar/fat mix.

Obviously my statment was only for myself. I even said that 2 times.

here ya go Ryan http://www.ajcn.org/content/95/5/1038.abstract?etocA+sciencedaily+(ScienceDaily%3A+Latest+Science+News)&utm_content=Google+International

essentially, high caloric foods can lead to “wanting more” over time, maybe this explains your PB desire a little.

It could but considering i dont eat high calorie foods like that habitually. Maybe 2 times a day if that, i would say not quite

I actually make a point of avoiding calorie dense food or only eat it in very small portions on some days so i can eat mroe volume

or it could be that PB just tastes awesome
