I cannot recall the issues with certain hair products and influencing negatively your hormones
Was this product Rogaine? I’m debating starting it, but wanted to make sure this wasn’t the one to stay away from…

I used Rogaine for 3 yrs with very little success. Then one day I had ED which lasted a full month. First day that happened, I stopped using that shit have decided to simply get short hair cuts. I dont think Rogaine is a good product. Its topical but it could mess with your hormones.
I used Rogaine (minoxidil) for about 1 month or even less. It was prescribed to treat an episode of Alopecia Barbae that I had (round patches in my facial hair).
I was not too comfortable with it also knowing that the folicules would fall as soon as I stopped the treatment or at least severely reduced in quantity. So I dumped into the trash after a while the product.
My derm was only concerned about the visual aspect of my face. I was concerned about everything else !
It lasted a good 2 and half years to fully come back and after that I had the occasional little winnie patch coming, but in the end it filled completely and stabilized.
Interesting reports from you guys.
I did some research, and i believe Rogaine acts as a vasodilator, helping the hair grow due to larger pores, so-to-speak. So from what I’ve read, it doesn’t affect hormones.
I just wanna protect the hair i do have on the top of my head. It’s starting to thin.
I know to stay away from Finesteride.
