My understanding is that paralegal is a “pink-collar” job, i.e. a field traditionally occupied by women. Do you consider it acceptable for a man to be a paralegal, or is that as gay as being a male secretary?
A guy I knew was a paralegal for Skadden Arps. They sent him over to work in Germany for about nine months. He got to party - a lot.
You might not get to party in germany, but if you like the job, go for it.
If you need to ask other people whether or not it would demean your manliness to take a certain job… then you are the right guy for that job.

I didn’t say I thinking of becoming a paralegal.
“Pink collar” or not, I can’t imagine a more boring job than a paralegal’s.
As for morally acceptable, I say just go the male nurse route and that way you’ll usually be surrounded by female co-workers and that should provide some opportunities to test where you’re at morals-wise.

can you see that i’m just playing with words…morally, socially, philosophically, anthropologically, whatever…generally the people on this site are known to rage against the feminization of society so would you see a man in a pink collar position as contributing to the problem?
