Is Fiber Overrated?

My wife and l have talked this.
Maybe eating what is locally sourced, which ripens sequentially every few days.

Old school, l like it.

Fuck that. What’s next you’re going to tell me to exercise?!

Very interesting. I’ve never really experimented much in this area (had friends try keto, I never did, etc.). Carnivore would not be difficult for me to transition. I eat a very limited amount of veggies typically and only choking shit down because “it’s good for you.” I’d have to cut out some bullshit for the experiment like pizza, spaghetti, etc but wouldn’t be tough.

It’s weird that you can have people who say since I stopped eating meat and only eat veggies I’ve lost weight I feel good! And then someone else say yeah actually I haven’t ate a vegetable and I only eat meat and I’ve lost weight and feel good.

Human body is an interesting thing.

No. I like my friends IRL and on the I terwebs to be at least half full of shit, if not completely. :joy:

Well that’s something I can get behind. I usually mix my meat with more meat and a side of meat with meat for dessert.

That could be interesting. I’ve noticed a clear trend with myself in that I steer more toward “lighter” proteins and leafy veggies in the summer-chicken, turkey, mostly birds and fish and less of it at that. Digesting red/fattier meats just feels too heavy and energy consuming/heat producing. It’s to the point that the guys at work joke about my lunch habit of chicken salads.

But in the fall/winter I’m all in on red meats and root vegetables. Meat and potatoes all the way. Even then though, I’ve had to open a window now and then to cool off and be able to sleep.
