AOC is an ideologue that is far more dangerous than the constant poo pooing she gets. Millions of people are hanging on her words and she has presented a more pleasant delivery system for the exact things Bernie has been marginalized on for 40 years.
In fairness, it was a rabid mob. And they were looking for her. What they would have done had they found her we might not be able to say with certainty but I won’t tell a woman who would not have been able to defend herself had she needed to, how to feel in that situation.

I know she’s in her early thirties but whenever I hear her speak she sounds like she hasn’t matured much, intellectually or emotionally, since graduating from college. She’s stuck in undergrad mode. It makes sense if you look at what she did between graduation and getting elected to office. There is nothing there that would spark that kind of growth. They elected the college student who thinks she knows everything and never had that belief challenged by actual life experience.
I mean, I know that. But you can’t look at how Trump screamed on Twitter and say we should hold him accountable for obvious falsehoods and then say “eh, AOC is doing a millennial thing”.

Eh. I mean true, but I did do a lot of bartending after grad school and I think I grew a lot during those years. I think that a job is different from the person’s character. Einstein worked as a patent clerk in a dead end job. Clearly for anyone confused I am not comparing AOC to one of the greatest scientific minds of all time.
Yeah I’m not sure how we wouldn’t describe this as a rabid mob? Domestic terrorists who organized to invade government buildings while politicians are there aren’t rabid? Plans to kidnap politicians, discussion of murdering politicians, and attempts by some to bring in or obtain explosives are all documented.

Politicians lie through their teeth about so many other things that have led to terrible consequences from foreign policy to the economy to legislation, so what makes sexual assault special? It’s like one of the lowest things on the list of shit that comes out of their mouths that I don’t take seriously.

She sounds more like a YouTube influencer. I think she knows her base well and how to appeal to it. Look at the amount of followers she has on social media and compare them to any other politician.
I think it’s an extension - an amplification of some aspects of her personality that appeals to her audience when given a platform.
Trump is also basically being Trump displaying the con man aspect of himself which apparently appeals to his base. He’s still full of shit. There’s no reason why AOC can’t be doing something similar.
Even corporate culture and lots of popular brands are based on certain aspects of their founders’ personalities. They have to be or they wouldn’t be able to maintain consistency in their brand image.
