I always wanted to be the strong, silent type but I could never shut up.

lol. Everytime I’ve tried the strong, silent type act it works for about 3 hours, then I find I can’t/don’t want hold my random thoughts in, so streams of conciousness end up pouring from me.
I come across as a closed book to most people I meet, where in fact I’m a very open book.
The reason I can come accross as a closed book is becaue my interests and thoughts on alot of things are very different to alot of people my age and/or who are around me. This results in me finding it hard to relate to some people. so I tend to keep my real thoughts and feelings under wraps this is especially true whilst I’m at work.
With people who I know and am comfortable with I am a very open book, perhaps too open sometimes.
Thats why I said I’m a door left ajar rather than an open or closed book. Any one who wants to get to know me can, they just have to come and open the door the rest of the way themselves if they want to really get to know me. Everything is there in the open, but not just thrown out for everyone to see. I’m more than happy to share my thoughts, feeling and opinions if somebody wants to know them, but I’m not just going to have it on show for everyone.
Dunno if that makes sense
if someone is a closed book, how can they develop anything more than a very shallow friendship with anyone?

Is wearing your heart on your sleeve like being a leaky faucet?
I think so… which is comparable to being a wet blanket.

Wet blankets are the result of broken condoms
Or a very aroused woman.

Women don’t get aroused. Haven’t you heard they don’t like sex and if they do they’re whores

Is this more of an extrovert/introvert question? My guess, not being an introvert, is that introverts are attracted to the internet because it allows you to communicate from the safety of your own computer. Many people have a fundamental need of wanting to be understood.
Bodybuilding itself is an introverted activity; it’s not a team sport.
Like Nards, I tried being mysterious, but failed miserably.
