Long story short: I was doing a test/EQ/mast cycle before all the lockdowns in the UK. Not usually a blast and cruise guy but have been cutting on a cruise dose of test (and small amount of mast) whilst the gyms have been closed. All in all, I’ve been on for about 7 months now and have a bridge/PCT plan to come off soon.
As you can imagine with lower calories, without the gym and only on a replacement dose; I have lost some size. However, the gyms are reopening again here and I have a ~6 week window which I could blast some higher test and maybe a mild oral before I plan to bridge and begin the PCT.
Is 6 weeks enough time to make it worth it in terms of getting any gains? Or should I just stick with the cruise dose until I bridge/PCT?
Why only 6 weeks? Is there a particular reason you need to come off? Is there a particular reason why you couldn’t extend your blast to 12 or 16 weeks?
Using enth for the cruise currently. I have some prop on hand, but not enough for a 6 week blast. Worth throwing an oral in on the same cruise dose? Or just abandon the idea?
Visiting family at some point this year. Would rather have completed PCT by that time and be completely off everything so I don’t have to bring a pharmacy with me and remember/worry about keeping up with dosing.
In that case I would probably wait until after your family visit to be able blast for a longer period of time.
Would you be opposed to cruising thrive your family visit? You could probably take a higher dose than normal before your trip, or preload a couple syringes.
Coming off after 7 months might not be as easy as it seems on paper, especially if you blast for an additional 6 weeks.
Good point. I do have a plan in place for coming off but have never been on this long before so I don’t have any personal experience in trying to come off after this long.
Current plan is as follows:
3 weeks of test prop after last enth pin to allow enth to clear.
1 week of no test. 2 pins of HCG in this week to wake up the boys.
Start 5 weeks of nolvadex @ 40/40/20/20/10.
Get bloods at some point to check that things are looking good.
Does that seem like a reasonable plan for PCT after being on for this long?
That seems like a reasonable plan and what I would do coming off a 16 or so week cycle. If I were to come off my B & C protocol I would look into a test taper protocol to allow my body time to adapt to lower and lower test levels. Being on for 7 - 9 months is a gray area to me as far as what I would do for recovery and hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.
