I’m seeing what I see. The Dems go after Trump for minor stuff, but if they dig a little deeper there are very serious things they could use against him. Like him talking about grabbing pussies is just some nonsense that got recorded by accident, but there is at least one girl who claims Trump raped her when she was underage at Epstein’s place.
From what I see, this extreme polarization that we now have started just before the last election. Everyone was relatively moderate up to then, then politics just went totally crazy.

Have you ever considered that what you write maybe makes sense to you, but not others? It is a common thing to happen. When someone asks for clarification, the obvious thing is to clarify. Claiming that either one option of me playing dumb or another option me being out of touch with world politics being the only two options is an obvious mental fallacy as other options exist.

You’re struggling with reading it seems. Pointing out the issues of a side doesn’t equal supporting those things on the other. I guess I missed the posts where I said those things were ok or good. Would it help if I said I’m not anti American, racist, or pro communism? I didn’t think I needed to point those things out repeatedly as I’ve never said anything like that at all.
Many people who lean left don’t support those things in the least bit just as many who lean right don’t support many of the things the current republicans stand for.

Violence against people based on political leanings is idiotic on both sides. But the evidence suggests the problem is worse on the right and this has been proven on this forum more than once. I don’t feel like doing that whole debate again because it’s easy for anyone to say “well he’s not actually a right wing guy” or something similar.

If there is an increase in “bogus” hate crimes (which have dubious statistics)…the increase in actual hate crimes has increased exponentially (by statistics that have been kept for decades).
