Iran: In Trump's Crosshairs

What exactly do you believe to be a mistake? Under reporting the number vs. totally denying casualties? I looked over the post and I don’t see anything that I missed.

yep, it did seem to me that you had missed that as I read your reply the first time

I guess I should take my own advice then

Peace

It wasn’t Iran that attacked the embassy this time, it was a Shiite militia. Going after one of Iran’s top generals is definitely overreacting, and using drones is a cowardly way to do it. It’s no different from Islamic radicals using IEDs and such.

I don’t see why it isn’t possible. The Iranian media, who I trust just as much as Western media, claims that Israel did the same thing:
" Israel suffered an embarrassing blow at the hands of Hezbollah as Hezbollah forces struck a military vehicle inside of Israeli territory, with anti-tank missiles. Despite what was an obvious direct strike, Israel manage to convince its population that none of its soldiers had been killed, by the end of the escalation."

It’s not just non-government radicals. For someone claiming to have lived in Israel and served in their military, you are really ignorant of what is going on there. Are you just a paid Israeli troll?

" Just before a U.S.-sponsored conference that was supposed to be about Iran but isn’t, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu changed the subject back again. At the conference in Warsaw, he said, Israel would be meeting in public with Arab foreign ministers “to advance the common interest of war with Iran,” according to a tweet from his office."

That is not what I read

This is what I read

I get what you are saying, but on top of the satellite photos released by Iran right now on Twitter there are videos from inside one of the bases showing blown up buildings. Apparently soldiers were told not to film or take photos but they still did. And Iranian media have videos of the missiles hitting their targets, not sand. Sure, it could be fake, but so could everything that the US claims. Has the US government never lied? And if these videos are real then the odds of not a single casualty ae very low.

You’ve spoken against Israel and you’re about to get picked apart by an Israeli lawyer if you are not careful

I get the feeling he is a paid troll. All he can do is insult people and quote official US and Israeli sources, which have no credibility as far as I’m concerned. His evidence is inadmissible. He once tried to tell me that the Palestinians regularly used kids as human shields and told me to google it, all I found was videos of IDF soldiers using Palestinian kids as human shields. I posted a video and he flagged it. He must be a legal aid lawyer.

I don’t know, he’s given me enough reason to respect him

I’m just saying to not let your emotions become a tool for him. It is only natural for him to try and pick you apart at this point, I do not blame him. There is nothing wrong with being born in Israel from my point of view, not that you’ve said there is

Engineering background first and moved into law if I remember correctly

Made me think patents

@Jewbacca no disrespect intended

You can’t be a Salafi and not a radical islamists by definition because you cannot submit yourself to any other law - especially an infidel one - except the one spelled out word-by-word by God through the mouth of the prophet.

It’s not a religion, it’s a political system.

Please could you outline your credentials as far as politics and history are concerned?

Educational and employment background would be good to know.

Cheers.

I watch the shows.

Thank you for sharing your opinion, I don’t agree with it at this time but I guess that might change

What do you mean by “submit yourself to another law”?

Are you talking about Islam as a whole, or Salafism as a political movement?

My understanding of the term Salafi is very basic. It relates to Salaf. People have probably hijacked the label in a bad way, that’s not your fault. Muslims should love the Salaf, that doesn’t mean mindlessly obey anyone who claims to be a Salafi
Muslims should not have to linguistically distance themselves from the Salaf. Then the terrorists would win (7% joking, 93% serious)

I already said, I’m asking for a friend…

Wow. Talk about having your head in the sand.

Something to consider is that Trump has said pretty much the same thing.

My joke wasn’t aimed at you I just copied that portion. Sorry for the confusion.

How can a true Muslim be judged in an infidel court? If the main tenets of sharia were passed down from God through the prophet Mohammad, codified in the hadiths, they’re not up for debate, and especially not for infidel secular courts.

An appropriate comparison would be the belief that the Ten Commandments could be overridden by a secular court.

If you interpret Islam literally, it’s a political system. The Salafis and the Wahabbists do that.

Did pushups and swung clubbells in a zurkhaneh while the morshed recited songs about intrepid Persian knights.

Nicely absurd. Not really sure if you’re winning the prize in this thread though…

Don’t waste your time explaining yourself to lil Hitler CB.

Although you did remind me I haven’t used my clubbells in a long time. Need to rectify that
