Not only that, but a large number of congressmen are dual US/Israeli citizens. The US is an Israeli colony at this point. Iran poses no threat to the US, it’s Netanyahu and his fanatical friends who have been pushing for a war with Iran for a long time. With Trump they get what they want and don’t even have to do the fighting themselves. Maybe they will ask for another increase in military aid.

Yeah. Six months ago people were praising him for pulling the troops out of Syira (because Obama put them there??) and leaving our Kurdish allies to die. Now the same people are cheering as he potentially sends our kids to die in his needless war with Iran.

What’s sad is I’ve got actual friends on FB who are calling Obama a piece of shit because he ordered so many drone strikes against terrorists yet turn around and cheer what Trump has done. Hell, if you don’t like terrorists, how were you NOT on board when Obama was sending them to hell in the dozens? Interesting…to say the least. & friggin amazing. (and I wasn’t even a fan of Obama myself, if you remember, but at least I’m not a hypocrite).

It seems that Canada has about 500 people in Iraq, mostly training legit Iraqis and some engineering work.
So far we aren’t pulling out, but I think if all Hell totally breaks loose, relative toall hell breaking loose around there, we should just say to fuck with it and not get dragged into too much bigger of a conflict.

I’m a rather hawkish liberal. I approve of targeted drone strikes that take out the most evil people in the world, without risking american life, and minimizing civilian casualties.
I don’t necessarily think it was a mistake to take out soleimani… But damn this reeks of amatuer hour, pull the trigger now and scramble to find justification later. FFS, it’s not that hard to have a basic press release vetted and ready to go for your top 100 terrorist targets should you get the chance to take the shot. And now trump saying he will attack cultural sites if Iran responds, and he will sanction Iraq if they kick out american troops… SMH. Just embarrassing.
