You’re just mad because they haven’t invented an atlas stone suit yet.
They’re called stone sleeves 
Strongman is a totally different ballgame though. We use a ton of gear because it’s allowed, and it DOES provide a distinct advantage in many cases. Anything from stone sleeves, to a deadlift suit, to figure 8 straps, tacky, grip shirts, whatever. We’re totally gear whores.

It’s getting stupid too. My last comp with a Stone of Steel, competitors looked like they were about ready to go walk on the moon with the combination of grip shirts, stone sleeves and wide receiver gloves.
They even allowed wide receiver gloves on my last comp with a natural stone. What the hell is the point?

Soon enough they will come up with a raw division in strongman.

I don’t think there’ll ever a division but there are definitely shows that are as close to raw as Strongman gets. Arnold Strongman Classic is pretty much raw (no suits, no direct tacky).
Maybe with the greater focus on records latelyx things may change.

There’s been a few strong man events in my area that didn’t allow anything but knee sleeves elbow sleeves belt wrist straps(deadlift event only) I think that was all. No tacky suits etc. not really raw but weights weren’t crazy heavy either
that doesn’t even make sense. you’d ruin the gloves after 1 stone, lol.
