Invasion USA

I am not buying this excuse of there being violence in these countries, as to why these kids are coming here. There has always been violence there, and no massive exodus up until now.

This is some activism at work here. Someone is spreading propaganda in these countries that these kids will not be deported if they apply for asylum for humanitarian reasons.

Exactly.

Why doesn’t Gov. Perry put the TX national guard on the border?

This is Mexico. A country of people who are strongly Christian that have a reputation for having very strong, clannish family bonds. If you go into Mexico there will be entire blocks owned by families, complete with small businesses, butcher shops, corn processing shops, or discotecas.

That these types of families are giving up their kids means something much scarier. It means the culture is shifting as a result of failed small economies and the families must be becoming more poor than they were before. This is complicated in that it’s probably very regional and has to do with people being displaced?

There’s a lot of shit going on down there. Some from Corruption, some from the drug wars/ fight over who supplies the U.S. with drugs and the fight over control of the 3 the drug pipelines/ veins into the U.S.

It’s just going to get worse with time. I think Mexico’s fate is tied into the U.S. We here just don’t want to see it.

Now the Repubs just put a tea party guy Brat who believes in deregulating farming. So, how the fuck are we going to be tighter on immigrants but dereg farming lol? And how the fuck does a trained economist get away with that?
Hey, I’m with you that it’s a terrible humanitarian issue. It’s heartbreaking. But there are millions of kids in Africa that have it worse. Why don’t we bring them over as well? And while were at it, we can take the unwanted Chinese female babies. I mean where does it stop?

Just like we cannot police the world, we can’t be the world’s nanny. Hell, we can’t care/provide for the kids in our own country now! That’s MY point. At what point do we realize we are broke?

I myself know of kids of relatives I would take in because their situation is bad. But you know what? I don’t because I can’t provide for them.

There will be a short period where this all collapses, and our economy will be wrecked. Then everyone unemployed will be like “What the hell happened?”
Nah… The thing is I totally understand you… The realization for me comes from understanding we have a hand in undermining these nations and their ability to provide for their own when we exploit resources. I’m not just talking about the America’s… You bring up Africa and I agree… Look at what we do in the Congo. There are parts of Africa that are incredibly resource rich, but all of us 1st world nations, members of the U.N. have been exploiting those nations for what seems like forever.

I agree it’s not our responsibility, but I feel strongly that we have a hand in it. I know at some point we cant save everyone, that’s just the reality of the world. But it sucks to realize we aren’t making it any better and are part of whats causing it.

Sherrifs Arpiao is saying that they r complaining bout cold burritos!

The administration is finally allowing media access to see this mess.

Has anyone mentioned they are fleeing America’s War on Drugs ?

Ill be called a “racist” for this but here goes:
Tresspassers will be SHOT, survivors SHOT again !!

If I saw a hulking Norwegian crossing illegally into the US by way of the canadian border:
Tresspassers will be SHOT, survivors SHOT again !!!

A buddy and i sat and figured out that if we brought ALL military personal home and armed the border,
we could have a fighting soldier on BOTH borders spaced evenly 75 YARDS apart…

try to slip through that and …
Tresspassers wil be SHOT, survivors will be SHOT again…with their bodies thrown back from whence they came !!!

Like I said, these murders all started this year, right?

That’s why the number of illegal kids has skyrocketed, right?

Nothing at all to do with Obama’s policies.

Don’t be silly!

The numbers are striking, and so is the timing. Before the current surge, the Border Patrol was apprehending about 20,000 unaccompanied children trying to cross the border every year. That number doubled across 2012 and 2013, as President Obama was halting deportations of illegal immigrants who had arrived as minors, and it is projected to more than triple in the current fiscal year.

And George would have handled it different . The world changes on a daily basis and the world wide CJS wamts to blame every negative change on the EVIL BLACK MAN that runs America .

I can’t think of 1 President that would have done anything any different .

Yes, The New York Times is a hotbed of reactionary Obama haters. Please, give it a rest!

ThinkProgress is “an outlet of the Center for American Progress.”

The Centre for American Progress "claims to be “nonpartisan,” but as it is “dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through progressive (i.e. liberal) ideas and action”, it adheres to the Democrat party’s liberal platform, and as such, it is highly partisan in nature. It is headed, and directed, by Democrat party members.

Its President and chief executive officer is Neera Tanden, who worked for the Obama and Clinton administrations and for Hillary Clintonâ??s campaigns.[6] Its first President and chief executive officer was John Podesta, who served as chief of staff to then U.S. President Bill Clinton. Podesta remains with the organization as chairman of the board.

From 2003 to 2007, the Center received about $15 million in grants from 58 foundations. Major individual donors include George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steve Bing, and Herb and Marion Sandler.

Peter Lewis: Lewis frequently donated money to charities and political groups:

Marijuana Policy Project (Donated $3,000,000 to MPP in 2007.)

America Coming Together and MoveOn.org (with George Soros matching his $10 and $2.5 million, respectively)

American Civil Liberties Union $15 million

The Democratic Party

Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies-sponsored MDMA/PTSD Research in the US, Switzerland and Israel $750,000 [www.maps.org]

Support of California’s Proposition 19 also known as the Regulate, Control & Tax Cannabis Act (Donation of $159,005 on 10/15/2010)

Support for Washington Initiative 502 with contributions totaling $2,038,700.

In January 2000, Mr. Lewis was arrested and charged in New Zealand for possession of marijuana. Lewis pleaded guilty to three charges…

Lewis = druggie and radical leftist

Steve Bing:

Bing is among the nation’s leading donors to environmental causes. According to filings of public campaign contributions, the Democratic Party has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of his wealth.

Bing has contributed more than $10.7 million at the federal level to the Democratic Party and its candidates

The biggest checks were written in 2002 when he gave a total of $8.2 million to the Democratic National Committee. But he also has given to specific candidates, including Al Gore, Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein

Separately but also in 2001, Bing’s name appeared in the news when he sued billionaire Kirk Kerkorian for invasion of privacy. Bing alleged that Kerkorian’s private investigators took Bing’s dental floss out of his trash to collect his DNA. At the time, Kerkorian was in a legal fight with his ex-wife Lisa Bonder, a former professional tennis player, over the amount of child support he would pay, with the billionaire reportedly suspecting Bing (a previous boyfriend) to be the father of Kira. After Bing was proved by DNA test to be the father of Bonder’s child, Bing and Kerkorian settled their dispute out of court.

Bing = radical leftist billionaire who fathered a child out of wedlock and tried to avoid paying child support by claiming the child was not his.
