Introduction - Low T

Hi all,
Very informative board, lots of great infomation here for me.

I am a low T newb as of today

was sent to Urologist for treatment and had first visit today.

I am overweight for about ten years as a result of a major accident and have had trouble gettting it underr control, I have bouts of depresseion and have swallowed every freaking pill they could come up with but never felt right. I had asked for a screeening of mty T levels off and on but y doc was hesitant to screen until last week. She truly felt bad giving me the resultsthat they were extremly low. she sent me to meet the urologist today to discuss out plan of action.

I know from reading that most of you know your scores and labs as well as your doctor but the only info i have as of today was a T reading of 108? He stated that he was getting me started on higher dosages for a few weeks to get a baseline for my what will soon become dosage. as of today I recieved my forst inection and it was a large amout in the syringe and i am thinking he said 1000cc? i am scheduled 4 more visits before next lab.

What i am hoping to gain from this? Normalcy, the ability to control my body better, metabolism, weight loss and some rejuvination. I have been caught in a spiral of one problem feeds another without any real answers for why until today so i am hopeful for any results.

Thanks to all of you for your tireless efforts of sharing and answering questions from your experiences.

Go through the stickeys. You have a TON of reading to do.

What kind of accident? Head injury? Could be a pituitary issue and you may be able to avoid testosterone injections altogether.
