I’m graduating this semester and am like alot of people am having trouble getting interviews etc. But I was wondering what about applying for Internships were they stipulate that you must be going back to school in the fall? What if I just lie and say my I am graduating in winter session on my resume?
I’m just thinking this because its easier to get internship then a full time offer.
Has anybody dealt with this before? like do they check?
OP, don’t go for internships–you need to find an actual job, even if only a temporary one. Is living with your folks for a while an option? What did you get your degree in?
I’m sure they would check something like that or have you send them proof. If you were looking for an internship you probably should have been looking your sophomore or junior year instead of right after graduation. Granted some companies do offer internships to new graduates it just may be tougher to find one that fits into your area of study. I’d personally look for some sort of job related to my field if at all possible, as close as you can get to it and work up from there.

Pretty cold to ‘lol’ at someone struggling to get a job in a crap economy, imo.
You don’t know this guy like I do. Plus, we’ve had a friendly back and forth laughing at each other for years, this troll knows I wish him no harm. :)
