Insulin Index And Cottage Cheese

I’ve read that the insulin index on dairy products can be up to 6 times the glycemic index, one of the often exemplified exceptions to the correlation between the glycemic index and insulin index. My question is whether this also applies to cottage cheese. If this is the case, I will be certain not to use cottage cheese as a protein backbone for p+f meals, since I might as well be carbing!

cottage cheese is fine. eat as much as you want

The Glycemic index for cheese is 55.
The Insulin index for cheese is 45.
