I’m now worrying about my ferretin level and how to raise this, I cut red meat from my diet, not sure how to raise it.
I’m definitely dropping my dose and switching to test enanthate.
I think I also need to give blood.
Balancing brain chemicals is sooooo tricky!!!
Yeah I think I would give blood, drop the dose and then introduce Iron.
Iron supplement?
No probably not … go for it if more agree.
Ok I’ll be diffing through and broadening my mind on this. Thanks for the nudge brother.
I guess viscosity is what matters.
Ok I got test enanthate, should I drop dose to 80mg?
I just thought I’d add that I’ve been rather irresponsible with my Test E dosages… On weeks that I take more than my prescribed dose (which is relatively high at 150mg per week) I find that my body and mind are hyped up and my insomnia becomes worse. So there is for me definitely a correlation between T and insomnia (and anxiety in general). I do feel energised on the higher dose. Despite a lack of sleep, I find that I have the facility to hit the gym every day if my schedule allowed it. It is powerful stuff! I’m being a little more sensible now and sticking to my dose. I intend to have blood works in a few weeks to ensure everything is tracking well (note that I did had blood work @ the 12 week mark and everything was good).
So @pilchard you may very well find greater calmness on a slightly lower dose. You’ve just got to experiment to see how your body reacts.
I seem to respond well to testosterone, even at 100mg per week my T seems to be high (along with E2). I think I definitely can go lower and still have decent levels. I think this is now key to my wellbeing and in turn ending my insomnia. I think my dose has been too high. I’m going to go 80mg test E and see what happens. I’m also giving blood this week.
Yes that totally makes sense. How you doing. Still can’t sleep?
… it’s very hit and miss. Even when I do sleep it feels like I’m not actually asleep, more like I’ve just got my eyes closed.
I’m hoping the dose reduction will help, especially in bringing my E2 down which is definitely not helpful for sleep!
Sounds like what I deal
With. When I sleep, it’s not deep and I rarely dream. A mouse sneeze could wake
Me.
I think it’s just that you’re not getting into the deeper sleep stages.
I’m not sure whether I need to give blood, my results say I do but my ferretin is on the low end, what should I do?
Lower that dose and try melatonin. You guys have tried it all but melatonin should help one sleep deeper. It does for me. I have just started dreaming again. Good dreams
What would you do if you were me regarding my blood, obviously my results suggest I need to give blood but I’m worried that my ferretin is at the low end…
Did you ask your doc. Sorry do not remember. I can imagine what he said.
I would not give blood. Unless you have symptoms. Lower dose ASAP. If you have symptoms then yes I would consider giving blood.
Maybe your body needs less since your having so many sleep issues.
Yeah I do need less, my body seems to respond really well to testosterone. What symptoms should I be looking out for regarding the blood?
(My doctor isn’t concerned)
Shortness of breathe when it’s really I had. A weight on your chest when breathing. I’m sure you can find more out there. I wouldn’t wait. Lower ASAP.
Yup, lowered as from tomorrow, from 100mg to 80mg per week
Blood Pressure would be a good quick indicator, but not the only one. If BP is elevated, AND you feel light headed or weak, then it’s time to worry…
BUT…you already have very high anxiety levels so don’t mistake a panic attack session for having a heart attack. Weigh those symptoms against blood pressure. If you get symptomatic and you just can’t seem to calm down within a reasonable amount of time, go to the ER or local clinic and have them run your vitals.
I don’t fuck around when it comes to affairs of the heart (literal or figurative).
I’ve not got any of those symptoms, I have lowered my dose today so hopefully it will balance out…
