I’m thinking about changing my major to astrophysics. This will require some deliberation.
Not sure if nerd or masochist. lol
I’m a little nerdy
LOL, was just busting your balls man. A couple of my best friends at school are physics majors and from what I hear it’s serious business, I imagine astrophysics would be at least as intense so good luck with that.

One of my majors is philosophy so I’m not really allowed to call people nerds and mean it anyway
I don’t think I need to major in general physics as undergrad and then astrophysics as a grad student. From what I understand, I can extrapolate that it won’t be an issue. We’ll see. Astrophysics will be more focused so most of the coursework may be a bit more advanced.
I almost minored in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Had 12 credits of it and needed 18. It’s good stuff.

I feel like I’ve been slacking on everything. Time to step it up … even if it kills me lol.
doin two a days like a bodybuilder?

for shameee

Lol you ever watch that show?
Not consistently. I don’t have my own tv, so I don’t even follow a lot of shows anymore. Just a handful. Netflix needs to hurry up and get Season 2 of Walking Dead already.

I’d recommend heavy band pull aparts to the same effect the amount of tightness I feel on everything where I have to make my upper back as uncomfortable as possible has benefitted enormously from them.

Those legs BFR the Juggernaut

Strict press
5/3/1 option 1/training max 205
155x5
175x3
195x1
Push press from pins
160x5
180x3
200x1 PR
215x1 PR
230x1 PR
245x0
16" Rack pull
used straps
350x3 followed by 20 shrugs
420x3 followed by 10 shrugs
490x3 had forgone the shrugs due to lower back fatigue
560x3
630x1 PR a real grinder disappoint
Pullups
a set of 27
CG Bench
135x8 paused
Low-handle TB deadlift
345x1,1,1 these were easy was lower back was just fried
CG Bench
135x5
225x5
315x5 PR considering this was the end of the session and I’ve haven’t benched since the meet this wasn’t too bad

NOTES:

 1. It has become apparent to me that the push press from pins is terrible for heavy singles since I can’t get adequate leg drive and tightness and is pretty much a strict press.
 2. I’m not backing off of anything. I’m pretty confident with the direction that things are moving.
 3. I need to back into some serious upper back work because I barely felt it today.

Nice work on the PRs even though you have more in you. Starting to make 315 look light it seems. Perhaps look to more mind-muscle focused exercises if your not feeling your back, when I went 705x3 on super high rack pulls… I felt cool, but I’m not sure I actually trained my back thickness at all, haha.

Tight. Thick. Solid.

It was due mainly to fatigue and dehydration. I just need to start working on it again.
