I’ve thought up some goals for the meet.
540-570 squat
345-380 bench
560-615 deadlift
These lifts seem reasonable for the following reasons: minimums I know I can hit, minimums that surpass my minimum goal total, minimums that account for subpar performance, minimums I would be happy with for my first meet, maximums that would be awesome to hit, maximums that still border the realm of possibility, big enough ranges to offer enough tolerance (+ and -) to allow me to enjoy my first meet without any second guessing and accommodate my hypercompetitiveness. Seems like sound logic.
I think I might be competing open, so I’m not sure where I stand as far as records go at the moment. I think I’ll just focus on having fun and getting wet and focus on crushing teen records at my second meet.
No idea why I hadn’t found this log before - ridiculous strength and clearly still increasing.
Definitely will be checking in here.
Good luck in your future meet.
Strong work in here buddy

Unsolicited advice from me: don’t look at the records before going in–it will only fuck with your mind. One of the following will happen:
-You will overstretch and not get it (bad)
-You will be mad that you DIDN’T overstretch and wonder “what if” (bad)
-You will get (good, but so what? Most records in PL don’t mean shit nowadays with the 823943298692 divisions they set up…so what is this really buying you?)
Just go in, lift your ass off, try to hit your goals and be a badass. I like your idea of a range for your goals–this will give you some wiggle room on each end depending on how your 1st and 2nd attempts go. Good plan.
Thanks guys. Just another marker on my quest map.
Strong “minimums”
Sounds like you have a sound plan for your meet. I hope you get us some meet footage.

I demand videos of amazing strength feats. kthanxbye
My current focus is on getting healthy, practicing the commands, and trying to peak which I seem to be inherently good at it (I just need to time things properly).
I also forgot to mention that apparently the meet will be ran equipped, so there will be guys in shirts and suits there. I don’t care though. I’m going to have fun and apply my best effort.
