Input on Post-Cycle Labs?

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Aiming to get some advice from the knowledgeable folks here.

Late 40s cycled for a few years. Most recently had labs about 8 weeks after cycle. Slightly concerned about lipids, a1c and alt. Would appreciate input, suggestions from the great people here:

Total cholesterol 221
HDL 60
LDL 145
VLDL 16
Triglycerides 89

A1C 6.0
Glucose 111

ALT 54
CO2 32

total test 621
Free test 17.9

What did you take? How long? PCT? Taking any meds for lipids or liver now?

700 enth 3 Mos
50 mg var 2 Mos
2 weeks off
4 week pct clom,nov,provi cut 50% after 2 weeks
Another 3 weeks nothing before lab

No meds for lipids currently or ever

Ok so 8 weeks Var and 7 weeks later for labs, makes sense. It’ll take some time for them to bounce back.

Did you take Proviron during PCT? Why? It causes suppression during a time when you’re trying to restart everything.

Citrus Bergamot, fish oil, Ezetimibe for lipids. TUDCA for liver. 30-60 days then retest

Hi jc, Were you pre-diabetic before your cycle? (A1C 5.7-6.4 is pre-diabetic) Glucose >99
Fasting at least 12 hours before your lipid blood draw?

Late 40’s and your back to 621/17.9 without ranges I am assuming TT was 264-916 dam that’s pretty good.

Usually fast 8-9 hours. Nothing after midnight. I was. I’ve hovered there for years and it’s been frustrating. Outside of a straight ketoish diet, suggestions are welcome. Would have to seriously adjust training if straight keto. Of course, if it’s a must, will do. 5’10 and weight has been 190-210 range over the years when checked.

Thanks for any valuable input.

And yes, have bounced back well each time. I saw the advice on the provi and don’t have a great answer (have asked myself the same?) other than have always used a little in pct over the years and it’s worked so I haven’t messed w it.

What about metformin? I know there are pros and cons for bodybuilders some love it some hate it. For me if it kept me from going diabetic I would at least try it. If your dad bod comes back and you lose your bicep veins than stop taking it. Just a though.

I would go lower carbs if you can. You don’t have to drop them to keto levels to get an impact.

Thanks for the thoughts on metformin and cutting carbs some. Not sure how I’d get a hold
of metformin. Looks interesting though.

We are not allowed to talk about drug sources on this forum. You could ask your GP doc or Google is your friend. I get mine overseas.
