This has nothing to do with race. Kids have been beating each other up on school buses since I was in middle school in 1968. And that was a hella long time ago. This would never make the news if all the kids on the bus were the same color. This was published with the sole purpose to provoke anger and hate.

Race only becomes a factor when someone looks at the video and sees that there are more black kids than white.
Yes a group of black kids will sometimes beat on a white kid for being white, but they will also beat on a smart kid for being smart, a fat kid for being fat, an ugly kid for being ugly, a poor kid for being poor.
Race is not the issue, bullying and respect is the issue (an issue that has been around a very, very long time)
Same reason that I do not support hate crime laws.

That is exactly why this will never stop. No one on either side wants to truly talk about it or see the other side. We can’t for what ever reason forget about the past and all say “Look we all as a group fucked up.” Now how about letting it go and moving forward from here?
