Greg, that would be my dad’s AR, as he’s the avid gun collector, but that thing brins back memories of snapping in at the range in the Marines. Love shooting that thing. and I’ll let my brother know the keep his profile as small as possible, so the rocks and paper targets don’t see him. haha. Yeah, I’m counting the days until the meet. 1 week from today and we’ll be driving up and settling into “meet town”, for evening weigh ins. Pretty pumped!

Dixie, that’s my brother, and in his defense that shotgun is rediculously brutal to shoot, I put 4 rounds through it and was dominated. Then shot my dad’s 20ga Binelli (sp?) and it’s like shooting a .22 compared to that thing. Can never have enough metal in here!

Today I’ll just rest up and recover from DL’s, as my back is pretty smoked. Tomorrow I’ll work up to all my openers, which I think will be 235 (I just want to really sink it and leave no doubt to the judges about depth)/220/365. Just nervous about the calls and all that, so I’d rather open light on squats and bench and then make a larger jump for a third lift, than missing my second. The rest of the week will be light stretching and some walking probably, nothing crazy, maybe hit like 50-60% on any lifts if I decide I can’t take the week long break.
