The run went really good actually, we kept a slow pace the whole time,and I’m ok with that. The whole experience was cool, and the shear number of ladies in running pants and shorts is almost enough to make me so another one. I would actually like to try one at my own pace, but we’ll see about all that…

So, today I should rest and recover, right? Well, that’s all well and good for the lower body, but the lunch break got the better of me today…
Pullups
BW x 19, again. I’m blaming the running, yes, that’s right. That about killed me, so I did 2 with an added 50#s, then needed a break
Dips
BW x 10
+100 x 4, barely. Once I recover, and get back in the groove, you’re done Chi, DONE!
+60 x 5
Various pullups
Here we basically messed around, doing fingertip pullups, pullups holding onto a tow strap (bother killers on the grip), multiple sets and I wasn’t even counting reps.

Fuck. I know, I know, I’ve been out of it. After the run, my diet went south, and so did my energy level. I haven’t done shit, and NEED to get over it, so I’m going to train legs tonight. Even bringing the wife into the mix and get her squatting.

As a (semi-important) sidenote: it looks like I’ll be joining a real gym soon. This is the place I went and benched the other night, and it’s a commercial gym I’d been a member of a long time ago when funds were good. Well, some adjustments in the “let’s eat out every night” department being changed and bingo, gym membership looks good. This will allow me to train using heavier DB’s (up to 130), rack pull at various heights in 1 place without needing to stack boxes and shit, be around some pretty big dudes to “feed” off of (no homo), and just have more opportunity to kick some serious ass. I’ll still be keeping everything at home in order, and if I can’t make it to the gym due to family/etc, I’ll still be able to do the basic shit that I’ve done for the past 9 months.
Thanks for the callouts, as they’re needed from time to time.
I’ll have shit to post from tonight. I will.

Just 'cuz…
16 was all I could manage. I’m giving up on all out max set for at least a month, instead replacing it with several sets of weighted pullups. Also, once I get my bands in, I’m going to see what I can do about maybe putting the band over my shoulders to add resistance towards the top.
Something has to work, and I get soooo burned out trying to max set every week.
