I have been doing all my injections in my quads (ive heard delts are a little trickier to do, also im still just getting used to the whole injecting myself thing), will i get better results if i do delts n quads, do the quads get used to it (build up scar tissue). also i use 1.5 inch needles this is to much for delts right.
You won’t get better results, but you will build up less scar tissue. Delts are easy, so don’t sweat it. You probably could put the 1.5 in your delt all the way but don’t need to so if using 1.5 just put it in 1/2-3/4. Also do glutes and ventro glues. They are really easy going sites to inject into.
You should search for Cortes’ posts on the ventrogluteal site. His info has convinced me to use that site. If the ventro site had an actual salesman, it would be him…LR
And I am an advocate of Quads!
Everyman has his preference, I prefer brunettes for instance, and have only EVER dated blondes. Because I am intimidated by hot brunettes…
Anyway…
Same is true for Inj Sites… For me Quads are a breeze. Can’t reach my arse too good and I like to see what I am doing.
I cant use glutes either, just cant reach properly and the fiance wont cross that line for me yet.

HAHA! Yeah, I guess I do sound like that, eh?
Anyway why so many posts on injecting, recently?
OP, you make it sound like scar tissue is a good thing. It isn’t. If you have too much scar tissue, you will no longer be able to use that site for injections. The oil won’t go in and you’ll have trouble getting the needle to pierce. You need to rotate sites. There are a ton of sites and a ton of posts on injections around here. I suggest you read them and use them.

I can’t comfortably inject my left glute because of the reason Cortes mentions. IEDs with propane tanks as the main explosive tend to cause a variety of damage… burning and scarring being some of it…
World
Shoulders are easy, just look at it (and your reflection) to balance out what you’re doing. Poke it directly in the middle of your shoulder, I use a 25g needle. Doesn’t hurt too much at all.
As the guys have mentioned, Ventroglute is the best site. Its easy to do yourself, doesn’t hurt much and the next day isn’t as bad as other sites.
Don’t know how you manage quad, I hate it!!
