Injected Propionate Into Quad

I, too, must concur with aforesaid opinion…

I third.

“Correction. Most use glutes, quads, lats, delts and ventroglute.”

I only use glutes and ventro. The very few times I injected into my quads it went bad. A couple of times the muscle cramped “almost breaking” the needle, and another time I limped for a week (not fun).

I also have a harder time sticking the needle in even though it’s a much easier position to push the needle in. Like I have rhino skin on the thighs or something.

So… I’ll go ahead and ask a newbie question I’ve never come across: when injecting in the quad are you sitting down, standing up or lying down? Do you tense the muscle or stay completely relax? What part of the quad do you prefer?

As for prop or enanthate, the Sustanon idea seems logical to me, since it has both.

When I do it, I am sitting on the floor with my back upright, leaning against the wall, bedframe or door, with my legs sticking straight out and spread apart. I try to completely relax the muscles, as tensing the quads makes it much more sore and painful, and also makes the pin harder to push in.

I prefer the outer quads.

The picture is not of my leg, btw, and I do it sitting. But the leg has to be straight for the quad to soften up.

Maybe you do it with a bent leg, which is why it’s hard to push in.

Thanx for the tip.

I as well am sitting down, back upright and legs out in front of me strait. I tend to end up being a lot closer to nerves if my leg is bent at the knee while sitting.

Yeah that’s right, I agree 100%. I also don’t go in at full speed because if I feel a twitch or a twinge, I may have grazed a nerve so I change pins and try again in a different spot.

I’ve never had the pleasure of hitting a nerve before. Is it excruciating? I imagine it would be, so I take every possible measure not to do it.

I’m using veterinary 100mg/ml Australian gear.

Hey mate also an aussie just wondering if you are using Tepro hormone as your test prop cause i am thinking about cycling it
Cheers

Yes mate that’s correct, I’m using the Tepro as the prop and Ropel as Test E.

Others use everything calves, bis, tris you name it.
Spot injections do the trick on lagging bodyparts for many especialy used with caverject.
Last but not least using just glutes may live you with a big ass.[/quote]

I know bushy has already corrected you, but…dude.

Hey yo ToneBone,

It is pretty intimidating at first, and I still have difficulty with it now because I used to have a needle phobia, but it doesn’t really hurt that bad at all. The whole issue is that it’s not natural to penetrate the body with a sharp object, however, injection is just a direct delivery method for foreign substances and it must be done.

Sometimes it takes me about 1-3 minutes of just sitting there with the needle positioned above my thigh before I actually get the guts to push in. The braver I’m feeling, the less time it takes to make the push. Just take a deep breath, relax the muscle, and it slides in quite easily.

In fact it can be painless and somewhat enjoyable when you do it right. I don’t know why, but each successful shot gives me a little sense of achievement, lol.

what’s up everyone? its been a while. bush nice to see you again. lets see if I can keep from starting a battle this time  I just wanted to comment to the new fella worried about injecting.

look man, its really not all that bad. it just needs some getting comfortable. its not natural at all. I don’t know how many guys would agree, but I would suggest starting with a smaller needle (23g perhaps). and, there are several folks going through nursing programs these days. im sure you know at least 10 people trying to be nurses.

if you do, you’re in luck. these folks are unusually excited to stick people with needles. but I would suggest talking to one of these folks (provided you’re close friends somewhat) and asking them to either show you or actually help you do it a few times. you may have them do it for you so you can get used to the feeling, and you can see how its actually done without the worry of hitting something.

you never know, they may be so cool with it that you can go to them every time you have an injection. boy that would be lucky! in any event just please take proper sterile precautions. the last thing you need is to have an awesome cycle going, and all of a sudden get an infection. not cool.

take the time to do it right, and the peace of mind will calm you even more. as for one more piece of advice… don’t try giving yourself a shot right after a hot shower and its still hot and steamy in the bathroom. that will only make you breathe harder and will make you shake more. it may sound like a stupid piece of advice, but just keep it in mind, because it is more difficult.

once again, its great seeing everyone here still alive and gaining! and I hope I didn’t cause a stir with this post. lol
