45 yr. old. Been working out for too long to admit. Weights feel so freaking heavy compared to a decade ago. I never used juice, but a started seeing a doc who used test cream on me. Saw that my T was low (saliva test) Started low and now at 50mg. BID (compounding pharmacy). Getting very little in way of benefit. He says that with cream , that happens. Some guys don’t get the desired effect.
He is now suggesting pellets. Says they will last 4-6 months. Injected under skin and T released as needed. Supposed to keep in high end of physiological range. Has anyone used these? Thoughts?
My Uncle uses them on his cattle herds.
How were the results? Maybe I can start towing the wagons?

Wow, I’ve never heard of the pellets being used on humans either… Anyway, there is a newer injectable testosterone with an undecanoate ester. I just heard of it actually. Supposedly it provides the individual with increased test levels for up to six months. So you won’t need LOTS of shots. It’s the best new thing for hormone replacement therapy IMO. If you bring it to your doc you’ll have to know the name of the ester.
Also, there was an old organon pill with the same ester called Andriol, but it was an oral form of testosterone and it’s not the one you want to look into. Either do that, or do convince him to let you inject yourself with a more commonly used form of test like the cypionate version. Either way, the injections are better than creams and pills… And I don’t know WTF he is talking about with pellets but that just sounds fucked.
testopel
Supposed to slowly release T over 3-4 months. Average is 1.5 mg a day (±)

Interesting. Personally, I would opt for a regular injection as the undecanoate ester actually lasts just as long if not longer than the implant. Somehow the implant scares me a lot more than an injection, lol.
Well the implant sounds both horribly unpleasant and ineffective.
Is there a particular reason you are choosing not to pursue a conventional HRT method? Also, why not take matters into one’s own hands if it is too costly at the doc?

Go with shots. Test E injected somewhat frequently. Why mess with creams and patches that suck. I imagine the test undecanoate would give you long ups and long downs and not keep it as stable. I think stable is better than up and down, except in bed.

You’re probably right, but ANYTHING sounds better than that goddam implant. What a horrible sounding idea it is to be implanted with anything.
