I’m experimenting with different injection and post-injection procedures to lessen the pain of the oil but nothing helps so far. Hit a glute shot the other day and it has hurt terribly since about 6 hours post-injection. Took 800mg ibuprofen to get to sleep the first night.
I like my source but my body doesn’t like the product. Tonight, I tried splitting the dose into two separate .75ml shots and pinned both quads outside, midway between hip and knee with backloaded 1ml 29g insulin syringes. I spent a lot more time trying to massage the oil away tonight and hopefully I’m not limping tomorrow. Too much ibuprofen lately.
I’m concerned that I may have to locate a different brand if I run anything requiring more frequent injections in the future.
Quads feel great today, surprisingly so. My right quad doesn’t feel like I hit it at all and the left is just barely noticeable. I think a big problem with these recent injections has been me “floating” the 1.5" needle, not inserting it all the way, and “stitching” the muscle as the thing glides in and out slightly for a minute. The glute was the worst. I raped my ass cheek with that injection. Now I’m trying to find spots with little to no fat for my future injections. Burying the slin pin and massaging the hell out of it worked wonders.
I’m hesitant to pin my delts because this recent, intense soreness there would put me out of work. Anyone a fan of the hip/ventrogluteal? I’ve got a lot of meat there and the fat is minimal. What about the rectus femoris just to keep scar tissue down from pinning the lateral vast all the time? Slin pins for the win.
I had a great weekend. My body composition has remained steady for a few weeks but I feel good, I look good, and I haven’t been crushing either food or cardio so I wouldn’t expect anything dramatic. Had a few beers this weekend, something I’ve managed to keep away from pretty well these last few months. Softened up in the insulin belt as a result. No sweat.
Anyway, I saw my regular barber who’s been out the last few times I’ve been to see him. He freaked out. He’s seen me change over the years and we always talk about the gym (usually about how hard it is for him to go) but he really took notice of my physique. I had another gathering of old friends, all of whom lift or crossfit, and everybody says this year looks like my best bulk. I’m still holding only 7 pounds over when I started (which makes 15 pounds since I started my “winter diet” six weeks before the cycle) but I guess it looks like more.
Next week will be my last week for this cycle. It looks like I’ll probably be about the same as I am now, which is still five or more pounds over my lifetime bodyweight PR and at a much more appealing body fat percentage. I’m sure everyone would be super unimpressed if they found out what I achieved on cycle but fuck em, the intangibles mean more to me now then the scale and I see a long friendship developing. 5-10 pounds a year is a shit-load of weight in 5-10 years.
Last test shot was Friday night; about 325-350mg. Taking 10mg dbol/day until the last shot of hcg which will be about 1 week before pct officially starts. My weight is holding and I’m getting a lot of compliments. Still managing to look leaner every week. Last night, several people commented on how “healthy” I look. I feel very good.
My pct plan has changed. I planned on 20mg nolva and 100-100-50-50 clomid for pct but I ran a lot of nolva on cycle and will just end up using the clomid unless I get some sensitivity in the nippular region. I’ve got enough nolva left for some emergency gyno interventions and a good pct if I try another cycle in the future.
I definitely overreacted to my puffy nipples this cycle. As soon as I dropped the nolva I felt and looked better. Apparently serms have their own side effects. Who knew? I don’t see dbol or anadrol in my future on account of the gyno scare but ~600mg test e the last few weeks didn’t irritate it in the least while running .5mg adex eod.
Jesus Christ, my libido is getting out of hand. I haven’t had many dreams or much of a libido since I started but last night was full of fucked up nightmares, and the past few days I’ve wanted to fuck anything with lady parts (well almost). It doesn’t make much sense. My best guess is that the nolva was suppressing everything and, now that I’m off that close to two weeks, it’s all cleared out and I’m left with a surplus of test and a boner. Thoughts?
This was a first. It’s not acne or anything, just discolored skin. I squatted a few grinding reps tonight and I guess my blood pressure got pretty high on a rep or two. Shit looks even worse in person.
As for the cycle, it’s been a week since my last injection, my weight is holding steady, I look good and I feel great.
Nipples have been aching and some lumps are getting more pronounced around them. I’m blasting 40mg nolva for a few days to see if it backs off. I had really hoped to be done with the nolva but I don’t want this stuff getting worse. In pre-pct news, I’m starting to get some backne which never happened on cycle. Slated to start into the clomid in ten days. Hopefully the nips calm down before then and i can ditch the nolva again.
I’ve been tapering it down, from .5Ed to .5eod to now .33eod. I may go back to .5eod… For now I’m just changing my undershirt once a day and using lots of oxy pads. Today, my nipples are only sensitive if I press on the lumps, rather than aching all the time.
Hey, what’s up everyone? It’s been a while. My pct is a mess since I started into the nolva early, but I’m hanging just over 200 and looking a good deal leaner. I’m approaching a month off and I can say that I’ve lost no strength but for a tiny bit from the gut; the power-belly. Weighing more definitely helps move more weight. No surprise there. My standing press, bench, and deadlift are all at the same level they peaked at on cycle, but my squat is down a tad. Apparently having a bit of dbol tummy to bounce against helps tremendously. Fuck what ya heard about a leverages myth - that shit is legit.
I look a lot less muscular in my day-to-day activities. I think I carried a 50% pump all the time on cycle, and I still look like an ape in the gym, but in the workplace I’m just another guy.
Life is hectic but I make progress whenever I step in the gym. I’ve changed up my diet considerably and am on track to be the strongest and leanest adult-male-weight ever in a few months. As soon as pct is through I’ll give it three months and I guess I’ll be back on. I’ve had loads of bacne thus far in pct; though I had none while on cycle.
I’m tired of stuffing my face. I’ve been at it for years now and it’s getting old. I think this year is the year I squat 500 for reps (in just a belt) and finally find myself lean around 205lbs.
What’s up everyone? Yesterday was the last day of pct. I haven’t felt any adverse effects from the clomid except for some trails in my vision in the mornings. My bodyweight is back to pre bulk levels, around 193. I started the cycle 4-6 weeks into a bulk which was not a good idea. I learned a lot and am leaner than I’ve been at this bodyweight before.
I did everything wrong in terms of pct diet but I knew that going in. I wasn’t willing to eat enough to maintain my gains, especially with lots of heavy life shit going on. The plan is to cut over the next few months and start back again in August or so. The weight I gained was substantial and I’m sure I can gain it back with a longer cycle and more conservative bulk. No regrets.
