Increased Shot Frequency. What Do You Think About My Labs?

Been on test cypionate since 2013. I used to be on weekly shots of 100mg but switched to E3.5D in the last several months. On the day of injection my testosterone level seems a lot higher than weekly (800-900 vs 1277), even though i reduced the dose to 88mg. Should I go even lower to say 70mg? I’m noticing a bit of hair loss as well.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think about my lab. I’m not taking anything else like AI as I’m extremely sensitive to it.

Total test: 1277 high
Sensitive Estradiol: 38 high
SHBG: 45
Free Test: 221 (35-155) high
Hemocrit: 45% (38-50%)
Hemoglobin: 15.2 (13.2-17.1)

Anything else you would do to dial in?

Even though my test is high I don’t get that rock hard morning wood. And I’m very irritable in the mornings.

I am in the process of slowly decreasing my Kratom dose as well. Kratom is a LEGAL plant at least here in TX, that increases dopamine levels. Not sure if that’s causing irritability. Or just “roid rage” from high test as I’m naturally highly sensitive and irritable.

I think your labs are fine.

Many speak of “dialing in”. I wonder what that means to you. Are you looking to reach specific levels on your follow-up lab tests? Are you looking to alleviate particular symptoms, or attain a level of well being or fitness? Any aspects of how you feel that are unsatisfactory to you? I’m not sure you can attribute morning irritability to testosterone, so other than that?

By binding to opiate receptors, same as any opiate/opioid. Tapering down, stopping CT, etc will def cause some fatigue & mood issues, libido issues

I notice some guys trying to dial in and don’t excersise at all and are looking for TRT to fix all of their issues.

I can tell you when I started working out it changed everything, it really made the biggest difference in how I feel.

It improved my mental state/well-being.

I’ve been working out for the last 10 years, 2 hours a day almost everyday. In the beginning few years I felt great! In the last couple of years not as same in the sense that I don’t get the “high” after a workout and don’t enjoy it like I used to.

I think there are too many variables at play here. Im gonna continue to try to taper down Kratom and eventually quit. And see how I feel several weeks after I quit.

Anything I can do to reduce SHBG? Should I even worry about my SHBG since my free test looks good?

Did I fry my opioid receptors? Once I quit completely, how long do you think it’ll take to recover?

Dunno, how much do you take? How long? I’m not as familiar with Kratom doses but I know what Vicodin and Suboxone did to me. As for recovery, probably similar but not as intense as synthetic opiates

Over two years and been taking moderate to high amounts relative to others. How long did it take for you to recover after tapering was completed? How do you feel now vs before you were on opiates? By the way, thanks for sharing.

That’s more than likely part of the problem.

I take Suboxone now, so technically never stopped taking an opiate. But, since starting TRT I’ve lowered my dose from 8mg to 2mg daily, and I know that I haven’t gone lower because I feel just enough of a mood & energy boost now that I’m fine staying at 2mg for a while.

I think part of the withdrawal is because of suppressed hormones. My doc felt the same and treated both
