Good morning…I’ve been using Alpha-GPC for a couple of weeks now - and have been searching for the right word to describe the effect - the best I could come up with is “Dialed In” (I know I know that means focused)…but that is by far the best way to describe it…
Most Alpha-GPC sources are not “100% Alpha-GPC”, but rather “50%-”
Is this also the case with Biotest Alpha-GPC?

Biotest Alpha-GPC contains a full 600 mg of L-alpha-Glycerophosphocholine.
In other words, 100% of this dose is Alpha-GPC.

I purchased a bottle to Alpha-GPC to take whilst doing a German-Body-Comp style of training. My thinking is that if the product is supposed to increase GH production, why not take it while using a training program designed to do the exact same thing?
What are your thoughts? Can you speculate on how this may bolster the results?

I have been using this supp for quite some time with very pleasing results but I began to notice that it wasn’t working as well taking it before training. I did some research online for others who are using and noticed a trend.
Some of the people were reporting that they had good response by taking it at night before bed. They reported feeling really good in the morning. I don’t know if that was a result of Acetyl Choline production being higher or more agreeable during times of rest or not, but I tried it and noticed a very favorable result.
I now take a 2 capsule dose at night along with Z-12 and ZMA, and have not only been sleeping MUCH better and waking more refreshed, even more so than with Z-12 and ZMA alone, but my training still seems to be boosted. I know this probably negates the GH boost associated with ‘prior to training’ use but certainly the elevated neuro-transmitter levels would still be a factor, both in mood and enhanced CNS performance.
Just thought I’d pass this along. I don’t know if you’re hearing this kind of thing from anyone else, but you might see if any brave souls want to help you experiment with this type of dosing, to see if anyone else responds better to it overnight.
EDIT: I would also like to mention I’m using Power Drive at the time of training but was doing so even before I started Alpha-GPC use.
Just wondering if anyone has any more experience of using this in Powerlifting comps?
Im not one to speak up about supps but this stuff works. Two words… Dialed In!
For me it seems to make me stronger the 2nd half of the sets and last longer in the gym.

I am a student studying for a medical admissions test and am considering using Alpha-GPC for its cognitive effects rather than for explosive force. I currently use both Power Drive and Spike for increased brain processing power (Power Drive alone has increased my test score by 20%). You mentioned that Alpha-GPC and Power Drive used concurrently have additive effects. Does that mean that the brain boost that Power Drive provides will be increased, perhaps even doubled, when used with Alpha-GPC?
Also, do you know how Alpha-GPC actually does as far as improved studying and test performance goes?

Obviously this is for Weight lifting…Would this supplement serve the same purpose for HELPING with explosive events – i.e. Football Lineman (getting off the line); Throwing events (Discus, shot put); etc., etc.

Also, do you know if it would be fine to combine Alpha-GPC alone with Z-12? (I.e is it going to decrease its effectiveness if I combine them at the same time.)
How is the supplement on the acidity level of the stomach? HOT-ROX, Curcumin with “pepper” and ALA are major no no’s for a person with acid reflux or similar issues and I’m wondering if this would fall under the same category?
Alpha-GPC (as well as Vit C) enhances nonheme iron absorption - just as an fyi. Good if you have low iron, but bad if you have high levels. I’d get checked after a month or two of being on this stuff or if you take a lot of vit C and or eat a lot of iron containing foods or supps.

Okay so if this is designed specifically for I, BODYBUILDER should this be the one taken and not the capsules? I still have many capsules left should I up the does to 3? wait til they are gone and then get this stuff?

There’s no problem with using the original Alpha-GPC with I, Bodybuilder.
You just need to take into consideration that it needs to be taken earlier in relation to your training for maximal effect.

Ever since Christian mentioned his recommended dosage of 900-1200mg over on his thread, I’ve been taken 3 or 4 pills 90 minutes before training with noticeably increased effectiveness. I’d do that until your original bottle runs out.
Good stuff as usual, guys. Alpha-GPC is one of my favorite Biotest products and the foreboding “Out of Stock” at the TMUSCLE store was starting to worry me.
