I recently dropped my AI and moved to a whole new regimen to see how everything would make me feel compared to relying on an AI for estrogen control. My current regimen is below and was started on 10/14. I wanted to track the progress on how I felt as well as bloods roughly every 2 weeks to see how my TT, free T and E2 would respond and get back on the AI if needed. Here is my current protocol that I have been following for the past 8 weeks. I was not able to take bloods the same day due to work issues but always did on a though day to see what my levels would look like pre-injection. It seems that my blood levels are massively fluctuating which I thought would level out eventually as time progressed. Will these numbers eventually even out when more time passes? What do you think of my current regimen/bloods and would you personally make any changes? Appreciate any insight.
Current Protocol:
Inject 3 times weekly. Monday 10am, Wednesday 12pm, Friday 10pm.
Dosage - .25 ml IM, 200mg/ml test cyp
HCG – 200 IU at the time of injection
AI – None
SHBG for reference stays around 25
Is there a specific number you’re looking to hit or would you like to feel like a normal human being?
How do you feel? Many folks have issues dialing in testosterone by itself much less with the addition of HCG. You’re probably better served doing T only, getting that where you feel normal and then if you want you can experiment with HCG.
You will not always get the same numbers on the same protocol. If you think you’re going to be able to maintain the same numbers all of the time, I’m sorry to disappoint you.
Thanks Dex for the reply. Want to feel like a demi god! Just want to feel normal, after stopping the AI I have felt much better than when on it. Still chasing that overall T feeling I had while on it though if that makes sense. My FT in the upper range of 25/26 would be preferred, my TT fluctuation and E2 sensitive is what is throwing me off. Surprised that my TT/FT is 1300/26 one day through and the next lab is 800/22.5.
HCG has been alright with me so far, decreased my dosage from 250 IU down to 200 IU to prevent atrophy and pain that I had when I didn’t use it.
Thanks systemlord, appreciate the response man. Is it common to have TT move around 500 ng/dl between labs and E2 all over? Was thinking the deviation between numbers would be less if all variables were kept the same(diet, sleep, supplements).
The problem is you don’t feel ideal. How much of that is from the HCG? The only way to know is to not do the HCG, get your T to where you feel good and the reintroduce it at a later date. Who cares about atrophy when you aren’t feeling ideal.
It’s common to get inconsistent results whenever TRT is involved, first you can get many different results from the same sample of blood, then you have your hormone levels on a sort of bell curve and testing at different times can alter the results.
I can imagine what my testing would have looked like when I was on my twice weekly, my levels were fluctuating like crazy. Your body can change and all of a sudden the dosage you’re currently on is no longer enough and your levels drop or your levels shoot up.
SHBG levels can change, an increase would see TT increase and FT decrease or vice versa.
