Right - 10mins of “collecting” and 2 drops. I’ve kept my arm low to increase blood flow, pumped the fist wiped the wound. I’m gonna call them and have the nurse come over.

The guys that do the test will send a nurse out if needed. I think this is the way now. Stop messing about and get it done.
Also - after 3 weeks of almost passing out every time I thought about it my blood tests are not bothering me. Maybe its psychosomatic?

So ME dead lift day. I’ve moved my cardio work out to tomorrow.

Dead lit 190kg with chains - 4 reps easyish. Video below. Happy with this.
Then 4x2 at 160kg.

Front squat - 120kg 4 sets of 6. This is a gain.
Single leg work. 3 sets of lunge and 3 sets of 1 leg squat.
all 12 reps - 30kg.

Then some banded curls and pull throughts.

Over all MUCH happier with life. 190kg moved easy enough. And I feel like I could get 8 reps in 60 second with this. So 200kg will be 5 and over on an axle. So more on a deadlift bar. And the front squat gains after such a big DE effort. Happy happy.

I swapped the cardio to the day after ME dead lifts. I was expecting much more resistance from my body. But no! it went well.

The 4x2. Started at 90kg ended up at 95kg. Felt good.

Then land mine T bar row using my strap.

Felt very tired today. My right quad was sore and I’m not sure I’m 100% over the ME dead lift day

140kg dead lift - with chains. Slower than I would have liked.

Squat. Moved well. First 3 sets where take a bit easier. 130kg - 140kg.

Then core and goblet squat and curls.

DE pressing day
Seated press into bands
6x2. Started with 50kg and red bands. I managed 1 set and dropped to 45kg with red. It was not quick enough.
From three I moved to CGBP
90kg 4x6. This was due to to be JM press but that hurts my wrists too much.

After that 3 set of flies
Then super set: dead stop skull crushers and Tate press

Last giant set
banded pull down, upright rows and fat man pull ups on rings. These were 10, 9, 10 (but with gaps in the last set).

Over all feels good.

Firstly - today was the first time since December I’ve been tired before starting. I trained yesterday but I think this peaking thing is starting to drain me.

Murdering today’s work out. Feel strong.

Seated axle press.
Was aiming for 1 set of 2 at over 77.5kg.
Hit 80x2 EASY.
Added 5kg and hit 85kg for 2 JUST. RPE 11.
3 drop sets of 2 at 75kg.

Pendley rows
4x6 at 80kg - this is easy but I struggle with body sway.

Flies, skull crushers and extension at high reps

Cardio today.
4 trips of - 1 every 3 mins
Front loaded carry - 85kg and 10 reps of 50kg thruster.

Doing the work within 55 seconds. This is a great measure. And I like to keep it quick. But today was super hard. I’m very tired from yesterday.

Haha, yea that’s life finding a way to get in the way again - that’s I’m why I rarely deload, life gives me plenty of those! Only managed to squeeze in 1 session so far this week, but hopefully another one tomorrow (deadlifts do I’m excited, despite the fact I suck at them!).

How was your Easter, your church back open? Manage to get along? Had your blood test yet?

Hey this is a thing.

No Church. Its all online. Done that. It all fairly soft thought. I don’t feel part of the church. Its so far away. Its too distant. Which is sad. I can;t wait for church to be normal. Doing some reading alone. Which is better sometimes. I feel sometimes we need to see what WE are being told alone. God is personal. He talks to us as individuals. Not through others.

Bloods are on hold. I lost my job so private blood test cost money. I’m 99.99% sure for a new job but I’m not going to spend until I get the contract in front of me.

I know exactly what you mean, I struggle to watch the online stuff (and I produce some of it haha), it’s just not the same, great to have some options but in person even with masks and restrictions is just so much better.

I often find that God will be telling me something (usually through scripture) and it’s almost always confirmed through someone else (almost always coming to me with the same scripture).

Oh mate, that sucks, really sorry to hear about that, stressful even if you’re confident of another role, sensible to cut all unnecessary spending until you’re in the clear! Good luck with the job search!

Odd story - in 2018 (or maybe 17) I went through a REALLY odd period where I could not stop thinking about death.
I read the Bible. And over the course of the Christmas I had 3 very strange thing happen.
1 friend out of the blue just asked me “If there is an after life, you’ll be there for me right?”
My son told me that they had seen my dead father (a devout Christian) in law who told him everything was going to be alright
And my minister called me and asked me how I was doing. All within a week.

Its really okay - I’ve been a contractor for a few years and I have savings. Because this happens. I have an offer in waiting. BUT I’m one of those guy that likes to have it confirmed.

Asked my coach for an easier day today. Been feeling a bit rough the last 48h.

DE deadlft
130kg 8x2

This was lighter partly as I lost a strap. On account of this I went heavier in the box squat.
Then I managed to do 4x2 at 180kg.
I suddenly realised that 4 months back 180kg was a “big deal”. And took a lot to get my head ready for. Today it was just a weight. This confidence is good.
Lots of core after that. Twist sit ups and leg raises.

DE press day
Just seated press with 50kg 6x2. Was easy enough. Really felt my dealt though.

CGBP 90kg 4x6 all was good.

Then back super set
inverted rows (11, 10,8)
Face pulls (25x3)
Up right rows (20x3)

A very quick work out. I’m so tired right now. And I’m juggling being 36 with wanting to progress. Along with squeezing 4 work outs into 5 days I need to be careful.

2 work out
Keeping it short:

220kg deadlift from just below the knee. 3 reps.
then 3x3 same height 200kg.

Some more stuff after that

90kg axle clean and press went for 105kg fucked it up and then blew the rest of the work out as I hurt my shoulder.
I did also do Pendley row 4x6 at 90kg alternate grip.
