Yeah - the drive has gone. As has 99% of my energy. With out getting to personal with the info - the mornings are less eventful.
£90 a month is what I’ve seen. I guess for your health its a small price. I’m going to get a test next month. See what it says.
Sounds horrible, I can empathise, definitely get checked, but also make sure you’re making the very best of your health before the test, honestly a lifetime of paying out and jabs isn’t ideal.
But £90 isn’t the end of the world, I suppose if you got dialed in you could use ugl and do your own blood tests (I’m tempted just for the cost savings, but I’ve been on 3+ years now and pretty happy with how stable everything is).
Edit for clarities sake: maximise your health in every way possible in the weeks leading up to the blood test, in the hopes that you don’t need it. (The usuals, don’t drink, don’t diet, sleep plenty, eat enough sat fat, take omega 3, vit D, zinc, boron, exercise wise make sure you’re not over training).
Also whilst I’m typing worth remembering that Covid, lockdown and winter could all be playing a big part, I’m not mentally 100% right now either because of all that crap going on
Yeah I just ordered the test kit. I’m gonna wait a week and make sure it’s a real representation of my levels. No beer, plenty of exercise and good diet.
Its not so much the money now. But if / when harder times come. I’m a “worse case” sort of guy.
But £90 a month is hardly a back breaking amount. I’m also worried about when does it end. Do you trt until you’re 60/70/80?
I guess I’ll talk to the doctor.
Work out in the mean time.
Seated press 58kg
3x10
Cgbp 70kg + green band
5x5
Flies
Push downs
Close grip press up
Land mine row 55kg.
3x55
Pull down
Lat rise
Easy one there, until the end. You shut yourself down if you’re shut down for the next 30 years no way you’ll recover natural levels at 60/70 and you don’t want to be super low at any point in your life.
Good plan. I would say stay away from the internet for your medical advice (obviously) but I’ll then offer some advice, ironically: if you go on TRT most UK private clinics will try and start you on HCG and AI with TRT, I’d personally say let it ride without for 8-12 weeks (unless you have any hang ups about testicular size, but if you’re not emotionally invested in the size of your nads then I wouldn’t worry about HCG).
Good man, sleep well as well, that’s a biggie.
If this were not the internet I’d share a story about something VERY related. And yeah - I’ve stayed away from the TRT forums. Even on here. I know 90% of what people will say. Get a test. This is step one.
I’m gonna test next Friday. I have an easier week at work. But Then maybe as my jobs a bit stressful I need to test at my worst. If I get a “just about okay” after a perfect yet unsustainable week. I’ll just talk to my doctor. At the end of the day - they have the experience.

I’ve been ill the last few days. A nasty infection. But I managed to work out last night. And that made me feel better.
My work out was basic. But good. I missed the single leg stuff as I was running thin already.
Paused dead lift 1x3 - 190kg
This was RPE 8-9 I had 1 more maybe 2 more reps. Which for the first dead lift in over 2 months was good. And paused.
Then 5x3 at 160 again RPE 6 on set 1, 8 on set 5.
Front squats 4x6 - nice and smooth at 110kg.
I’m going to be honest I miss the days of doing 130/140kg. But this will come back. I can push this more and more as I head toward a peak.
then banded pull through’s. 3x25.
So - press
1x3 at 85kg. This is pretty good. A bout were I was in October before I stopped doing the standing press. I can feel that I’m not bracing very hard. So there is defiantly more in there.
5x3 at 75kg
Hard work this but done.
Floor press close grip
3 sets of 5 reps - 80kg
2 sets of 5 reps - 90kg
Flies banded
3x25

4x8 - 40kg
over head extentions
3x25 - green band
T bar row
3x12 with 100kg
Land mines
3x12 with 50kg - pretty easy
Good work out. Felt the triceps pump. Nice and quick also. No fucking about. Feel good.
Dead lifts with chain - 110kg on the bar with 4kg chains.
12 sets of 3. Very quick on the pulls. Really focused on the speed.
3x3 paused back squat - again lots of speed at 90kg
RDL - 4x6 at 90kg. I like going a bit lighter but REALLY feeling the stretch at the bottom.
Goblet squat 3 x 12 with 25kg
Hammie Sliders 3x 15 with a 5kg weight
sit ups 3 x 20 with 10kg weight
Over all a good work out. I feel a bit refreshed after this. Rather then totally screwed up after the ME work.
Press
DE into red band - 3x10- with 35kg
Bench - DE
4x6 with 60 kg - far too easy
Dead stop skulls
3x12 - 35kg
Tate press

Close grip band pulls
Green and orange - 3x15
Up right rows
Red - 3x25
You had your blood results back yet?
Nevermind just read your confession!
Yeah. I keep going weak legged or impatient during the sample being taken.
Although that’s mainly nervous energy.
Are you sure you’re not going to give it another go? I never found the finger pricks to be an issue (I bleed well!)
I bleed slowly. And I get all jittery. I really want to get tested. But if I can’t get the test done doing the treatment is not going to happen
