I think as far as looking big, 5’9 to 5’11 or maybe Six is ideal, because you can still look pretty stocky but don’t look like a midget. It’s a nice equilibrium.
As for being short, if you’re a short bitchc you’are a short bitch.
You can always built and badass in mind and bodyu, and you’ll still be short, it’s up to you if you feel self conscious for that. If ppl wanna give you grief, they prolly wouldn’t if you weren’t so worried about it.

I don’t know who’s actually self-conscious about being short. When you’re not tall, you’ve never been tall, so all you know is being the height you are.
It’s not like it takes getting used to or anything- it’s always the same.
IM 6’4 but I would really love to just be 5’10 - 6. True but, everyone has a monkey on their shoulder. When I was a kid I went to a mostly black school, and I got pretty wide cheekbones, they all called me ‘wide-face’ because blacks have small craniums typically, for my race my facial width is normal, just like they have disproportionately large lips to me, but for their race, this is normal.
Anyways, I hold myself with dignity and respect, nobody every dogs me now. Yet when I was depressed in adolescence alot of people dogged on me even. So much of it, is just about confidence.

I grew up in the Philippines where I’m above average height, I’m going to school in the US and I feel pretty damn short at 5’9.

If you buy individual beers in Japan you’re looking at a comparable cost to N. America, but lots of places have “nomi ho dai” (all you can drink), where you pay 20-25 bucks for 2 hours of all the beer you want. The service is usually lightning fast too.
