Immortal Technique

anyone else in love with this group? I just picked up another one of their cd’s, “3rd World” and its simply amazing, the flow, the beats, the lyrics all so precise and well mixed.

Immortal Technique is a pretty cool guy in real life (I’ve met him a few times back in the day when he used ot battle), but I personally think his music is garbage. He tries to be political but imo is just a “me against everyone” dude. Anywya, like I said, he’s a cool guy and I know he has a pretty big fan base for still being underground.

Immortal Technique is awesome. However, I can only listen to ‘Dance with the Devil’ every so often. That shit ruins my day.

A commendable lyricist, but I hate his content. I hate political music of any kind.

I wouldn’t really call Immortal Technique underground anymore.

I wish I could make it so “Cause of Death” looped in the PWI forum.

haha, what other good more underground and hardcore rap artists do you guys listen to? i have virtuoso and jedii mind tricks

Ugh… so many.

Try this one on for size.

Immortal technique is one of the best lyricists alive. Period.

yes, my friend is more a fan of more popular hip hop claiming its about the flow, but i think immortal technique has amazing flow and content as well as a kick ass dj

First song I ever heard from him was “Obnoxious” and from then on I was a huge fan.

LOL… Every once in a while I put my ipod on in the gym I go to and there’s a crossfit-esque gym on the other side that’s mostly women… You should see the looks they make when they hear that song. hahaha

In fact, immortal technique makes up quite a bit of my workout playlist.

I started listening to him over the summer when a fella from work showed him to me. I think he is an amazing lyricist but he does take on that “conspiracy theory slash everybody against me” persona. I don’t quite like that part of his music

Prince Ea, my top guy at the moment. He goes into the political stuff too, but you can’t hate on someone spreading actual knowledge.Gotta love Immortal Tech too, for sure. Also Beast 1333

“the flow sicka than old niggas on benydril, spit the same magic as Alice when she took the pill”

“you better start givin t up son,cuz I got a gat bigger than Jennifer Hudson”
