For starters, USMC is the Marines version of Navy Seals, Army Green Beret. In other words, Special Forces.
In the 70s, all branches went to Army jump schools, as I was there with Seals, and if not mistaken, some Air Force guys. I could be wrong about that.
And I wasn’t just his driver, I was his orderly. I carried a 45 and went with him on trips to various Naval Stations, Corpus Christi, TX, Pensacola, FL. I got the job because the previous orderly had been from 2nd Force Recon. All provable, even being Honor Man in boot camp. I have pictures being promoted by him, a VADM,(3 stars). Who promoted you if you ever were?

Perhaps you have a smoother approach to making me look like a douche-bag than me of you. It might be from where I work. Everyone kind of gets to the point as it’s kinda fast paced.

And I was an armed chauffer 35 yrs ago, although I really haven’t accomplished much since then. I spent most of the 80s and 90s trying to stay out of rehab. LOL. Wasn’t completly successful. The floor was a wild place. It was hard to avoid the life style. A lot of us got caught up in it. I was fortunate to make a little money, not rich, but comfortable as we are going electronic and I might be driving a truck soon. I will let you know so you can have a laugh. I average 3 arguments a day so anything will be a relief. I have wanted to leave the job for a while but I would take an 70% pay cut. And the market is only open from 9 to noon so the hours were hard to pass up. But it could come to an end in a month or two. I look at it as a gift from God. I hope I am saying that after it happens.
I think you are right about us being the only two on this thread. And you’re right, I like to have the last word. LOL. And if I sound like a racist, I by no means am. I have a couple of black friends and some Mexican ones too. Only kidding. I don’t consider myself a bigot but maybe I’m not smart enough to know when I am being one.
Well I won’t be a dick anymore. I might be a little insecure about my lack of education,(hence the tirade), which is my own fault, but that would have gotten in the way of my lifestyle. LOL.
