I’ve ordered some bone broth for night shifts. I keep trying to come up with things that won’t give me a tummy ache, but I feel like it will be very limited because everything gives me a tummy ache even in the best of conditions, lol.

Oh well, pick your life’s discomforts, right?
Not exercising is more uncomfortable than a torturous leg workout and being extremely isolated and unemployed is far more uncomfortable than being on a night shift with a tummy ache.

Anyway, wow. I can’t believe I got my 300th subscriber to my youtube. That means there are 300 people in the world that somewhat enjoy me doing the same six exercises over and over again with audio that is basically just me talking to myself, hahah.

My room was pitch black. I had a solid 9 hour sleep and I woke up having no idea where I was, hahah. What a magical slumber.
10/10 would recommend.

Well, I’m goiing to make some egg cups for my breakfasts and some chicken and veggies for my suppers for the next few days. Gotta get atter!!!

People were confused and thought I was joking. I said ā€œI just don’t like junk food.ā€

Of course now everyone thinks I’m some kind of freak of nature and I get all nervous and chatty so I go on to say :

Oh man. They asked if I’d ever compete in bodybuilding and I said I’d feel weird wearing a swim suit in front of a ton of people, but I’d do it if I could just wear my pjs. I think I look pretty good in pjs. Hahaha

I am now known as the weird chicken, cabbage girl and I am very much okay with that, LOL.

Ok, killin’ it - day 2

40 minute power walk
45 minutes foam rolling/yoga

Got a little stir crazy sitting so long today. Coming home, all I wanted to do was to crush a leg workout.

But why? Was it time for leg day? No.
Have I fully recovered from the last leg day? No.
Is this urge in alignment with my goals? No.

I felt anxious and wanted to explode from sitting all day.
That is not why I leg day.
I leg day to achieve maximum muscle development.

I power walked and had a wonderful yoga session instead.

Tomorrow I will likely do my leg workout. I am off on Thursday, but I am planning on hitting shoulders then. I hope I will feel energized enough if I do a leg workout at 530pm and a shoulder workout the next morning. It shouldn’t be too bad, I just usually have 24hours between workouts.

But, fuck it. I’m superwoman and I’m incapable of slacking during a workout.

I’ll be with my squad next week and already answering the 911 line.

The staff sergeant of ecom came to introduce herself today, and MAN. This lady is my idol.

She’s been on the beat, in sex crimes, undercover, promoted in everything, and has been with the PD for 25 years. She’s so full of life and energy. I love her and I want her to be my life mentor.

Anyway, learned a lot today. Met some great people and I’m ready for what tomorrow holds!!!

Every set felt like a massive release of stress from a day filled with not enough exercise. I had zero intrusive thoughts during the whole thing. I was on a completely focused lifting mission.
And I’m already looking forward to tomorrow’s workout!

After my shift on Friday, I have a few days off so that my schedule
can align with my assigned squad.

But I like how they are easing me into night shift. Ill be working 6am to 4pm for two days and then from 4pm to 2am, and 5pm to 3am. That seems less daunting for the first time doing it. I should be able to schedule 3 workouts over those 4 days very easily.

OHH! I get to go on a ride along! Woo! How fun! I’ve always wanted to do that. And they strongly encourage it so that we can have a better understanding of what’s happening on the other end of things. Maybe I can ask to go on them all the time, hahah.

But I accepted him by accident the 3rd time, and he dmed me saying he stumbled upon my youtube and wanted to tell me my personality was too special to ignore.

I was like wtf don’t you have like 5000 babes on your arm all day, Lol.

He said maybe those types of women aren’t his type, and if I lived in Texas he’d be taking me out on a date right now.

Hands down one of the most confidence boosting, nice random things that ever happened to me.

Some totally shredded youngster with 98k followers made a real effort just to give me a genuine compliment.

I couldn’t believe it.

I literally mean that. I sent screen shots to 3 people asking if I was being scammed, hahahah.

Anyway, made my week. And by week i mean year.

Not sure if I’ll do back after work tomorrow or if I’ll rest. I’ll have tons of time to lift over my days off, so I might just do back Saturday morning and avoid the 530pm insanity at the gym.

I can’t imagine what would make packing up and moving to Alberta with a Nintendo based solely on a 3 minute YouTube video anything but extraordinarily creepy.

Just having a ā€˜vibe’ isn’t going to go very far. You could always quantify it… but you probably should really consider something else… I’m sure such people probably do exist, but I would have no idea what planet they are kept on.

Creeps are usually just looking for a reaction. All they want is to win. They’re combative and insecure, and they want you to come back at them. So by responding you’re just adding fuel to the fire. You’re giving them more ammunition. By ignoring them, you’re shutting it down before it escalates into something more contentious and not feeding into their behavior in any way.

40 minutes yoga/foam rolling/ab wheel roll outs

Was a bit stressed today worrying about all of the testing.

But, it was a waste of energy because I passed everything from training.

Passes the final, passed the call evaluations, and now I don’t have to fret about a damn thing.

I actually had a lot of fun today. We were doing mock 9-1-1 calls and for whatever reason we were all kind of giddy and everything was cracking us up. I don’t remember the last time I laughed that much, lol.

I realized my first night shift will fall on day light savings. Curses world!! shakes fist

I’m going to post a couple of ā€œprogressā€ photos before my workout because I’ll be too tired to do it after.

I know, realistically my lats won’t have changed in two weeks, lol, but I do think something miniscule is happeing : - ).

Also, before when I said I was going to continue to slow gain over winter and cut in January, I wanted to clarify that I consider right now to be winter because there’s snow and it’s fucking cold, LOL.

I’ve decided I dictate the seasons as I see fit. I put cozy pumpkin stuff up in August and I have started wearing Christmas pjs in October.
