Ok so heres the deal.Ive been trying to squat alot lately because after all its the best way to add mass and strength but the strength hasnt showed up yet and im still squating pretty sorry ass weights but i think form and execution are more important then pounds right now.
Anyway whenever i see a guy getting set up to squat at the gym I kinda pay attention to how much weight they put on and usually its more then what i use but then the squatting begins and these fucking pussy barely go past half way if they even get there.
I see this everyday at my gym guys leaning forward and barely lowering there ass and I get funny looks when im warming up with overhead squats and going deep with light weight.Oh well i see guys doing squat rack curls right next to the half squaters all the time, and to think i lift at a golds gym.

You nailed it. Keep at it, and pretty soon, you’ll be squatting more than your fellow gym patrons AND with proper form. Then they will be asking you for advice.
hah at least people actually squat at your gym! I go to a 24 hour gym and rarely see a squatter, though once in awhile I will see someone doing deep squats-usualy never very heavy but I’m still always impressed when I see it.
It is O.K man, just pay attention to what you are doing and let everybody else waste their time. There are a few guys at my gym that put 2 big 45lbs plates on each side of the bar for their first set!!! Their range of motion is so pathetic. If they would just give up their ego, use a broomstick and learn how to squat properly they would be a lot happier with their progress. Hehe, silly people who think a squat motion starts at the knee’s.

I’m going to go against the grain here.
While I agree that form & ROM are important, results matter even more. What use is laughing at the “fucking pussy” if he looks better than you?
I can only assume from your post that your legs aren’t that great at the moment, so next time why don’t you ask yourself if the half squatters have better legs than you.
If they don’t then be grateful you know better and move on (no need to worry about them looking at you), if they do then maybe you should spend your time trying to correct that rather than justify your own (apparent) lack of progress.
Was this thread just for reassurance? Either squat at a different time or get stronger and ignore everyone else.
I can’t say I know what weight anyone uses at my gym, (mainly because I can’t add up) but seriously, learn to ignore everyone else in the gym, it will make it a much more pleasurable experience.
