Also, he has been hand strong for a long time. Years and years.

Just did something on my deload week that I think would be right up they alley of a few folks

20 push ups, every minute on the minute for 50 minutes. You could also make it 1000 push ups as fast as possible, or go for more minutes than 50.

Didn’t take video, as I honestly didn’t plan for my workout to go that way, but assuming I don’t die in the next 3 days, I might try it again sometime.

Figure @anon50325502 as a Marine (I dare not say former/ex, haha), and resident psychopaths @littlesleeper @strongmanvinny2 and @brady888 would appreciate this.

That sounds sickening, certainly some type 3 fun.

That’s not a deload mate, that’s a slow torturous death. At what minute does is start getting ridiculous? Haha

Minute 45 for me. Had to surf the net between sets before that, haha.

Holy shhh man, if I got to minute 20 I think I’d be surprised. I’ll definitely try this though, you know, for “fun”.

Lol, 10 years ago maybe…

@T3hPwnisher I’ll end up trying it in a weight vest, only getting to minute 11, crying, then not telling anyone about it.

One for @T3hPwnisher and anyone else feeling silly. Heaviest weight for 100 lunges. I did mine with 135 on an SSB. I reserve the right to up my weight and challenge any oncomers. Just give me a couple days

Just seen this and thought I’d put it here in case any of you would have missed it.

Looks pretty tough, definitely something I fancy trying although I’ll have to lower the weights.

This is Linda aka Three Bars of Death with pull-ups instead of hang cleans with 75% bodyweight.

I tried Linda and quit after 10, 9, 8, 7 and it took over 27 minutes. It was awful and apparently I’m pathetic.

What about dumbbell/kroc rows for max reps with your bodyweight?

Or 20 rep deadlifts with a pause under the knee for max weight?

Did this challenge last night

12 pushups
9 Deadlifts with 95
6 OHP (jerk, push, strict, just get it overhead) with 95

AMRAP in 90 secs x 3 rounds (3 minutes rest between)

I finished with 103 reps pretty gassed, but folks were getting over 200 reps…

*Not that it really matters, but I did this at the end of my workout.

So you set a timer for 90 seconds and keep repeating 12 press up, 9 deadlift, 6 press until the time runs out? Then repeat 3 times?

I will give it a run later

Ya, exactly.

*3 minutes rest between the rounds

That sucked pretty bad! Did this first thing before my normal work.

Not seeing how 200 reps is possible without being the flash. I hit 152, first 2 rounds completed 2 full runs in what I thought was at super fast speed, last round the overhead became very difficult. Blowing hard now.

Ya, it’s a tough challenge. 200 seems a bit excessive to me too. The leader board is through soflete. Josh Briggs is listed at having completed 194 reps. The guy at number 1 is claiming 255…

I’m gonna imagine kipping pull ups and being able to jerk will go a long way towards getting those reps in.

It’s push-ups. I’m guessing some pretty liberal push-ups.

Oh damn, I misread it. And consequently, it seems much easier now, haha.

Get some solid bumpers on the deadlift for a good bounce to help. As a strongman, I can’t help but think of all the ways to cheat here.
