Jesus…

have any of you tried doing 100 bodyweight squats? Even that is hell after like 60!

Yeah. Maybe my endurance just sucks. I dunno. I wouldn’t be surprised. When I tried it… at around 60 my legs were pretty much numb feeling. lol?

Damn I want those!

Every autumn/winter when iceskating comes on the news I get so damn jealous.
The strength and endurance combination is truely amazing.
My question is how do these people get those legs?
I guess the old squats and deadlifts will do just fine.
Does anybody know more about their routines, cardio, on season, off season training?

Thanks in advance

You want to know how people get those legs?

THEY ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM A BODYBUILDER’S, just smaller, do you understand?

If you want legs like that, train them like bodybuilder’s do.

That guy’s legs were built as a side-effect of training for ice-skating.

One major thing about the bikers and skaters with huge legs to consider is this:

They spend practically every day from usually age 12-13 (if not younger) all the way through puberty and on doing intense, high-lactate and explosive exercise. In addition, they eventually add in squatting, deadlifting, and other things.

If you go and skate for an hour and a half 5 days a week for the next 20 years, MAYBE you can build some nice legs. Of course you can just go to the gym and accomplish the same thing in half the time or likely less.

I’ve tried squatting 135 for as many reps as I could do and got up to 80. I then did a set of 60, and then one of 35. After that, my lower back was really tight; I could hardly walk.
