I just don’t think you should solely base your diet around protein shakes and fiber. Whatever happened to solid foods? If you works for you guys though thats great. Count me out though.[/quote]
Duh. Solid food is always the way to go for a long term nutrition plan, bulking OR cutting, doesn’t matter. The problem, though, is that you didn’t really read the original articles by Chris Shugart. Or if you did you skimmed them, because he makes it extremely and abundantly clear that the V-Diet was based off an extreme SHORT TERM diet, that he was going to change and tweak to be a better, extreme SHORT TERM diet. The V-Diet is NOT a long term nutrition plan, hence the provision for transitioning off the diet and to normal solid foods.
The whole purpose of the diet is to kill bad habits and instill discipline while dropping fat and maintaining muscle. He provides several different ways of measuring progress, all of which he used to confirm that he did NOT lose any muscle while losing massive amounts of fat, and doing it fast.

Sounds like somebody failed second grade.
220 - 16 = 204
