I had a vasectomy 10 years ago and after I healed up (3-5 days) I never noticed a single difference in anything. I mean Im on TRT now for the last 3 years but it probably doesn’t have anything to do with it. Probably.
I did it. My wife and I are super fertile so after kid #2 we both got fixed.
The boiler plate instructions say to take a week off of work. I took the day of the procedure. They give you nice big dose of Ativan to chill you out and numb the skin then so their thing.
A micro incision with one stitch on each side. No pain during or afterward. The only time I had any discomfort was while running up stairs because the boys were bouncing.
Even then…barely just a reminder that something went on down there. No big deal at all.
I had one about 5 years ago. Did not effect erections/libido or anything of the sort. I’ve know tons of dudes who’ve gotten snipped as well and they all said the same thing that it was painless, easy, no big deal. Well…I was the one unlucky bastard out of 1000 I suppose.
The numbing shots sucked, but I’ve had worse pain. However, when the doc laid down one of the forceps that was clamped onto my vas deference, and it slid off down my side…I screamed like a girl. Felt like someone had grabbed all of my organs and pulled on them as hard as possible. Felt like puking for about 3 days after (like when you get kicked in the junk) and my balls were swollen for almost a week.
I’m still convinced that my situation was not the norm, and likely got a shit doctor (wife set up the whole thing, not me) so as long as you’re one of the 999 dudes out of 1000, you should be GTG!

I had a similar situation. My doc gave a little “tug” on my vas deferens to get some slack for the cut and tie off. Felt like somebody was pulling my guts. It s a very brief but I still remember it all these years later.
To the OP, you also have to have about 20 ejaculations to get clear before you can have unprotected sex.

Talking about ejaculations. Is it ok that first 2-3 “contractions” are blanks. Then like last 2 some comes out?
If I edge for like 30-60 minutes then semen comes out with the first shot.
Not sure what the hell is normal.

No issues with vasectomy here. No regrets, no pain, no sperm. I did it for the same reason as you, let the wife get off of birth control.
Have you tried it without one? The difference will blow your mind. Condoms are like eating your favorite food with no taste buds.
