Hey matey, let me just check…yup think i am lol.
Just been spending a more free time learning about other interests of late, currently into learning more about the Christian crusades and the knights templer. That and human evolution, thats long been an interest of mine.

Training wise, for the last several weeks ive been combining coach CTs skeleton program with his 6 recommendations for over 40s article.

Still sea swimming 4-5 times per week, and am off to Switzerland next month for some hiking and drinking with friends. Been hiking our mountains here every sunday for practice this last several weeks. So looking forward till that, ill get pics up when i get back.

Joined another new gym, this new gym is more of a HIT type gym, people go in train and leave, no one is to sit around on their phones. It even states on the wall “this is a gym…not a social club”. I like it lol. Its very well equipped, brand new nautilus and primal strength machines and open 24/7.

Going to be focusing more on hypertrophy going forward, so more machine based training, top sets taken to failure. No more than 4-6 sets to failure per session.
Training every other day for more recovery aswell. Been having a dip in the sea most days this last few weeks, its definitely helping with recovery and improved my overall energy levels. I go about an hour or two before dark, it seems to help me get a better nights sleep aswell. (Which is probably why my energy levels are up).

Upper bod tomorrow, big hols my training partner has joined aswell. Shes been outta action for a few weeks after break 3 fingers at work lol.

bar looked funny fully loaded with bumpers. Looks like you need some skinny plates.

Aye mate, i hate bumper plates. Unfortunately, they’ve only slightly skinnier bumpers. Ah well, cross that bridge if i get there lol
