Worked up till 227kg for 6, up two from last week. Stopped at 6 because i started to slow up on the last rep or two. Dont want grinders.
Finnished up with some power curls and rear rear delt band work.

Thank frig summer is near enough over, i train and sleep much better and am far more active in the in the autumn, winter and spring. Ideally i like freezing temperatures.
This last week i started upping the volume, and as the weeks goes by and as it gets colder I’ll incrementally up the volume more.

Not getting to the gym tomorrow for a pull day, so just finished up today with some rows
Messing about tonight with a wee unconventional lift, modified beltess reeves deadlift with the hex bar. Rubber on my tri grip plates become slippy even with chalk.

Actually feel these more in the quads and glutes than a regular HBDL, unfortunately the grip goes before the legs and back.
Been dying with the damn flu for the last 3 days, the usual, sore and fatigued and the loaf hasnt stopped banging ffs. Still, running water and all that…
Did some mobility work and light training today, was beginning to stiffen up. Made a sweet home gym purchase today, the plate loaded chest supported row machine in the last video i put up two posts ago. Getting for half the price the gym owner paid for it, delivered and all. Well happy with that.

Still absolutely dying with this flu, but got a liitle done in the gym today
On a separate note, as a member of the loyalist community here in Northern Ireland am deeply saddened by the loss of our queen, i was fortunate to have breifly met her when she met with children (from both sides of the community) whom where victims of the troubles. The end of a great era.

Got my new plate loaded chest supported row today…think ill call her Cassidy Blaze lol, shes a sweet smooth as lat action lol. Well chuffed.
